The Main Event

Most Polish weddings are fairly formal (suits and cocktail dresses), but as it's an international wedding we're expecting anything and everything - come as you're most comfortable and consider comfy shoes, as our ceremony will be in the grass and you'll be dancing a LOT!

Shuttle pickup: 2:30pm at the bus kiss + ride in front of Glonojad restaurant; exact location: https://goo.gl/maps/FDvW3r3ZdcJNtyYc9 We will have a civil + humanist ceremony outside from 4pm (shuttles will bring you from Krakow); we expect a cool drizzle to dry up but the ground will be wet! Next, guests will have the chance to pass their wishes and gifts onto the bride and groom. You being there is the gift that we'll cherish and we see you traveling from far and wide as that gift! We're going to eat, drink, and dance like you've never done before! There will be multiple meals throughout the night, a few speeches, and a lot of vodka. The band will let you know what's happening, when, and there will be an agenda for you when you arrive with some translations. There is ample space at the venue to sit and rest, and lots of outside space to enjoy the fresh air. Shuttles will take you back to the pickup point in Krakow from 1-5am on a rotating basis.

'Poprawiny' aka hangover recovery afternoon meal

3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This Polish tradition is one step down from wedding attire; we invite you to wear more casual dresses, perhaps trousers + a shirt but no tie

Come get over your hangovers with us - Poprawiny is a typical day-after-the-wedding gathering that'll force you out of bed and to come eat (and perhaps drink!) to recover. You can come and go as you please, but plan to eat from 3-5! It'll be a buffet style meal at Marcin's uncle's restaurant, right on Market Square. We'll be there from 2:30 pm if you want to just come for a coffee before you jet off, but there will be food and drinks from 3. The space is super cool - during WW2 and after, it was a cafe for writers and the literature society, and a journalist club has used the space for years. Krakow's artists and actors used to meet here for coffees, concerts, cultural meetings...come enjoy the surroundings and 'culture' of surviving a Polish wedding!

Wisla River Boat Tour

5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Nothing super fancy, prepare to bundle - we want to show you the city from the river!

Boarding at Aqua Fun: https://g.page/statekkrakowAquaFun?share Our final event will be a boat ride on the Wisla river on Friday evening around sunset. Come enjoy views of the city and some food and drinks with us before you all head off! The boat has a covered downstairs layer and an open upstairs layer so expect to bundle for outdoor views (weather looking nice though!), and also prepare to dance a bit! We may do an evening sunset stroll/find a rooftop bar for (vodka tasting?!) views afterward!
