As we know many of you are traveling from far and wide, we wanted to go digital and keep all the info for our wedding in one place. We'll continue to update here as we get more information - we can't wait to celebrate with you all! Our 'third time's a charm' date has been set and THIS IS IT FOLKS: September 1, 2021! Yes, it will be the best Wednesday ever. We'll plan some nice things to do together in Krakow after the wedding (Sept 2 & 3) to keep the party going.

On the dance floor of course! Alex was checking out Krakow with her good friend Idalia (one of the bridesmaids). The girls arrived Friday night and after sampling some local cuisine (mmmm pierogi) they headed straight to Wodka Bar to try some of the local beverage. Marcin, who was living in Krakow at the time, and his friend Andrzej had been enjoying their beverage choice (whiskey) and their two worlds collided at the now-shut-down (how classy?!) nightclub 'Cien' - just off Main Square in Old Town, Krakow. Marcin and Alex locked eyes and smiles from across the room and then danced the night away. Alex knew it was love at first sight (well, what she could see of him in that dark nightclub). She gave him her number - which at 3am seemed to have been 1 digit off - but the persistent Marcin figured out from the country code that she was indeed 'from' Ireland and not Iceland as he had misheard the night before. He sent a text message through, and the next afternoon they were having a coffee in the Jewish quarter. Three hours of walking, talking and laughing later, Marcin tried to say goodbye and Alex pulled him in for their first kiss (well, that they remember anyway). Twenty minutes later they came up for air and decided they had to see each other again. Alex booked a flight back to Krakow the night she returned to Dublin, and that was that! This was it. We can't wait to celebrate with you all just the same way we met - on the dance floor!
