Hotel

The Blake at Taos Ski Valley

116 Sutton Place
Taos Ski Valley, NM 87525
 (855) 385-0437

A room block exists at The Blake allowing for a discounted rate on Friday and Saturday nights. Also, please remember that the wedding is during their off-season (i.e., current rates for The Blake are significantly higher as winter is their peak season). For our wedding, a standard room for two nights (Friday and Saturday) totals under $550. However, if you Google current rates at The Blake it is $1200 for two nights-this is NOT what rates will be at wedding time! Use the link below to book a room from the block! The website is not the most straightforward so please text Logan/Derek with any questions.

Travel Note

Travel in TSV

When you arrive to Taos Ski Valley (TSV), you will likely only need your rental car if you decide to leave the village, if you decide to drive to the ceremony/reception (instead of using the shuttle), and/or your commute to/from the airport. Carpooling is recommended! Other than that, the village is very small with a few restaurants, bars, and shops that are all walking distance from one another. With all this being said, most guests are arriving to TSV on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. The village is very small with a limited number of options for food, shopping, etc. You will find more to do in the city of Taos which is about 30 minutes away from TSV.

Travel Note

Altitude!

TSV is almost 10,000 feet in elevation. Thus, please familiarize yourself with symptoms of altitude sickness. Click the link below to learn about prevention, symptoms, and remedies. Importantly, please remember this when drinking alcohol!

Travel Note

Monsoon Awareness!

We will also be in the middle of Monsoon Season! Please just be aware of this in case we get some rain. We have a Plan B (and Plan C), but know that Plan B is to use umbrellas (that would be provided) and keep the ceremony outside! The rain typically passes through quickly...so how about we all plan on only needing Plan A! Click the link below to read more.
