When should I RSVP by?

Question
How should I pack for my trip?
Answer
Some might be expecting 100-degree weather during the summertime in NM. However, TSV is at 9,000-10,000 ft in elevation meaning that it is significantly cooler in this area. During the day we can expect 70s and at night 40s.

What should I expect in TSV?
Answer
The village is very small!! One thing that we fell in love with was the size and intimacy of the area. While there are great hiking trails and other outdoor activities, for many guests there is not a full-week's worth of activities to schedule ONLY in the village. Many guests are either choosing to make a longer trip of their travels by visiting Santa Fe or Albuquerque before driving into TSV or making a long weekend trip to TSV. Where should I stay?
Answer
A room block exists at The Blake hotel and discounted rates are available. When you call to reserve your room please inform the hotel receptionist you are attending the Andrews-Riffle wedding.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
For the ceremony and reception, please plan on cocktail attire (cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and jackets and slacks). Please note that the ceremony will take place outside so you may want to rethink the heels! Reception will be indoors. The average high/low temperature in Taos Ski Valley in July is 74/40 degrees. Weather does pass quickly, in the event that it does rain!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?
Answer
A shuttle will be available to take guests to the ceremony site (from The Blake) and from the reception back to The Blake. Shuttle times will be listed under the "Schedule" tab in the coming months.

Is there parking for the ceremony and/or reception?
Answer
For guests that choose not to use the shuttle, please park at the Williams Lake Trail Head parking lot. You can then walk to the Kachina Basin Platform for the ceremony from this parking lot. After the ceremony, you can walk to the Phoenix for cocktail hour and the reception.

After the ceremony guests should walk to The Phoenix for cocktail hour, which will take place on the deck of The Phoenix (reception venue).

Can I take photos at the ceremony/reception?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We are happy to share the professional photos taken by the photographers!

Our incredible wedding planner is Ashley Sargent, owner of A Beautiful Theme! Our photographer is Ashley Shaw, owner of Hey Ashley Shaw, who is also amazing! These women are truly gifted and you are sure to see them working their magic on wedding day 🪄! Show them all the love!
