Built sometime between 1000 and 1450 AD, the Taos Pueblo is said to be the oldest continuously inhabited building in the United States. About 150 Native Americans still call it home. It is a deeply spiritual site so please be respectful of the past and current customs of those who have worshipped and lived here should you decide to visit. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 tours are not being scheduled but fingers crossed that by wedding time they will have been started back up! The pueblo is located approximately 30 minutes outside of TSV. It is also on the way to the valley from both the Santa Fe and Albuquerque airports.
If you're looking to adventure out of the village, Taos Mesa Brewing is about a 30 minute drive. The brewery is often hosting events, so check out their schedule on their website to see if you can catch some live music!

"Via Ferrata" is Italian for iron path, and describes a climbing route made up of steel cables, handholds, and ladders permanently fixed into the rock and used to guide participants through a designated route. The via ferrata at TSV has a 100ft sky bridge!
"At 650 feet above the river, The Rio Grande Gorge Bridge is the second highest bridge on the U.S. Highway System and the fifth highest bridge in the United States. During construction of the bridge in the 1960s, funding did not exist to continue the road on the other side, leading to its nickname, the 'Bridge to Nowhere.'"
Do some mountain biking on approximately 18 miles of trails and old roads!
Albuquerque is approximately 3 hours from TSV. Some guests may choose to split their trip in half, starting in Albuquerque and ending in TSV!

ABQ - If you're flying into ABQ and need a bite to eat we recommend Sadie's, which is about 15 minutes from airport (thanks to Austin for recommendation). "The best food in the city is the carne adovada with red chile from Sadie's...that's not the most popular opinion, but it's the right one" (Cobert, 2022). Also YUMMY salsa & sopapillas!!
ABQ - If you're visiting ABQ check out the Rio Rancho Bosque South Trail! It's an easy and beautiful trail along the Rio Grande and you'll have beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains!
ABQ - After your hike on the Bosque Trail, stop at Tap N Taco for YUMMY tacos and local beer! Logan & Derek's favs: fish & barbacoa tacos / Bosque Brewing Co. Riverwalker IPA!
High Noon is a popular spot for lunch or dinner (and absolutely a margarita!). It is located in Old Town, which is packed with cute local stores and historic buildings. The High Noon building was built in approximately 1785, making it one of the oldest structures in Old Town. After your margarita, walk over to the the San Felipe de Neri Church across the street, which is the oldest building in ABQ.
This is a cute place for a casual lunch! Santa Fe Brewing Co beer and various food options are available. <15 minutes from airport! Although there are a few different locations, this is the location that Logan & Derek went to!
This place is a true southwest vibe...and it's huge!
