We chose to get married overseas in Japan because this country has always meant a lot to both of us. When we first started dating, we bonded over various aspects of Japanese culture from food to video games to anime. We survived a 2-year long distance relationship when Alan was living in Japan. We got engaged in Japan. And now, we are getting married here. We are so excited that everyone can come join us for this wedding and we hope that we can share some of the cultural experiences that have made us fall in love with this country, and more importantly, with each other.
