Matron of Honor

Kimmie and Vanessa met in college while both attending Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, and became best friends while slinging beers and chicken wings at Hooters. Confident, beautiful, and smart, Vanessa always looked up to Kimmie as the big sister she never had. They’ve shared the best of times and the worst of times, including moving to Tampa with their six cats!🙀 They’ve created a lifetime of memories together, and have enough stories to fill several books! Kimmie has seen her little “V-Love” both at her best and her worst, and still loves her no matter what. Despite the distance, their friendship has never wavered, and will always be something Vanessa cherishes forever.

Marlo

Matron of Honor

Vanessa met Marlo in her early twenties, when she moved back to Cleveland after living down south for 5 years. They had an instant connection over their shared interest in fashion, makeup, and music. Both being sensitive and intuitive, they have always understood each other on a much deeper level as well. Marlo is the fashionista of the group, and always hip to the latest popular trends in fashion, style, and beauty. Look beyond the surface though, and you’ll see that she has the biggest heart, and is loyal beyond compare. Those two qualities are the reason they remain so close, and why their friendship will always stand the test of time.

Katherine

Bridesmaid

Vanessa met Katherine (“Kat” for short) when she joined Gamma Phi Beta sorority at CCU her freshman year. With her extroverted and energetic personality, Kat made becoming friends fun and easy, Kat is a pro at planning itineraries for fun getaways, and they both share a love for travel, art, and music—especially electronic. Her devotion to fitness and healthy cooking keep her energy levels high, so there’s never a boring moment when the two of them are together. Even when too much time has passed without them seeing each other (Kat lives in NYC), they always pick right back up where they left off. Vanessa values the fact that no matter how busy life gets, they both find ways to make their friendship a priority, and look forward to more fun trips in the future!

Lisa

Bridesmaid

Lisa and Vanessa met in 2018 while attending a series of personal development workshops through Next Level Trainings in Columbus. While discovering more about themselves, they formed a special bond and friendship that grows stronger each year. Lisa is an independent boss babe with a magnetic personality and infectious laugh; she will have you crying tears of laughter just minutes into a conversation. She’s also the no-nonsense friend who will be honest and direct when you need solid advice. Vanessa knows she can fully be herself around Lisa with zero judgment, which makes their friendship genuine and true. Vanessa deeply values their friendship and knows that Lisa will always lend an ear, and always have her back!

Amy

Bridesmaid

Amy (along with her partner Ian) met Judd and Vanessa in 2019 through mutual friends. This fun, friendly, and feisty blonde quickly became a good friend of theirs. Not only is she the life of the party,(and throws the best ones), but she’s also super smart and successful. Vanessa and Amy have bonded over the fact that deep down, they are both grammar geeks, and believe in always using the Oxford comma! Whether they are playing dress up in Amy’s closet, or taking a last minute trip to Wyoming, Amy is always the most generous and the most fun!
