We ask that you take this opportunity to dress in formal attire for this special celebration - suits and ties for the men, dressy cocktail dresses or longer gowns for women. However, the most important thing you can wear is your boogie shoes.
While we love all of our younger friends and family members, we kindly ask that our wedding stay an adult-only celebration and that only the persons listed on the invitation attend our ceremony and reception.
Yes! Please indicate any dietary restrictions on your RSVP card. While our selected menu includes a duet plate, Oakmont can also accommodate an entree with only the filet or the sea bass. Any questions, please reach out to Stephanie or Joe directly.
While the reception will have a free-flowing open bar, we're no stranger to the wedding pregame. For many of you not from Pennsylvania, you likely aren't familiar with its archaic liquor laws. Wine and liquor can be purchased from a PA Wine and Spirits state store. There are two wine and spirits stores downtown, one on Fifth Ave, and the other on Liberty Ave, right by where our church ceremony is located. Beer can be purchased at a beer distributor. There aren't many distributors downtown we'd recommend - your best bet would be stocking up beforehand. However, beer and wine can also be purchased in limited quantities to-go from local restaurants and bars, if you'd like to try your luck (Primanti's in market square sells six packs to go).
