South Congress is a lively district south of Lady Bird Lake full of great boutiques, vintage shops, eateries, and bars. The main shopping boulevard is south of East Riverside Drive on South Congress Avenue.

Known as the official history museum of Texas, the Bullock is the place to learn about the story of Texas. See the 300-year-old ship of French explorer La Salle that sank in Matagorda Bay, numerous Native American artifacts, and more.
Massive public swimming pool, fed by a natural spring. Set within Zilker Park, the pool is surrounded by lawns for sunbathing, and the water temperature is a cool 68 degrees year-round. Might be a polar plunge in March!! Jump in at your own risk ;)
