It started with an algorithm and turned into many chats. He asked about my interests and instantly made me laugh. One date turned into many and it became clear, that we were meant to be together and share many more years. How crazy to meet someone and find out they're your perfect match. Sometimes even we forget, that we met on a dating app.

The man had a plan! And I am still impressed. I thought I was going out for Talia's (my good friend and co-conspirator!) birthday, which was going to be a ladies night. Our meet up location was at Heights Beir Garten, which is where Jason and I had our first date, and I of course thought nothing of at the time. When we ordered, my drink was served with a card and beautiful letter from Jason ending with instructions and coordinates to find him. The coordinates led me to Avant Garden, which is where we first said "I love you", while dancing at our good friends' wedding (nope, it wasn't a slow dance!). When I arrived Jason was waiting with a ring and the biggest smile. I said, "omg". He said, "you're supposed to say, Yes". He laughed. I cried. And then I made him say it all over again. If you think that's good, it's not even the end. After I pulled myself together, Jason said "let's go celebrate". When we arrived at Anvil (cocktail bar!) all of our friends were waitng because he planned a surprise engagement party. Even Allie (my best friend and maid of honor - you'll meet her, she's great) secretly flew in. It was the best celebration I could have ever wanted and I wish I could live it all over again.
