When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
Formal invitations will be sent out a few months prior to March. Please RSVP by January 19, 2024, as our venue requires an accurate headcount. *If you can't find your name when submitting the RSVP, please reach out to Cat or Jason directly.

What is the wedding dress-code?
Answer
To complement our theme of elegant, relaxed and fun we’ve chosen Cocktail attire. For men this is a suit and tie. For women this a cocktail dress of knee-length, midi-length, or long. If weather permits the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, dinner and reception will be held indoors.

What is the weather like in Austin, TX in early March?
Answer
Early March is still Winter in Texas and typically pleasant Spring-like weather. While we hope to get lucky and have a lovely sunny day the temperature will be chilly in the morning and evening. Per my extensive research, on March 1st the temperature in Austin typically ranges from 51°F to 68°F. There is the unfortunate potential that it could be much colder, please check the weather prior and prepare accordingly!

Are children welcome?
Answer
We adore our family and friend’s children but have chosen an adult only ceremony and reception (except for those who are part of the wedding party). We want our reception to be a party like atmosphere and invite you to dance the night away.

How do I get to the wedding?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will take place at Barr Mansion. We will be providing transportation for guests staying at the Austin Marriott Downtown to and from the event venue. The venue is located 10 miles outside of the city allowing for easy use of ride share and parking is available onsite if you prefer to drive. What if I have dietary restrictions?

There will be vegetarian and gluten free selections available. If you have a food allergy, please reach out to Cat or Jason directly.

Is everyone invited to the welcome drinks on Thursday evening?
Answer
Yes! This will be a casual open setting to kick off the wedding weekend. We are so grateful to everyone coming to join us in celebrating and look forward to welcoming you into town.
