This is a really great hike on the way from Denver to Keystone. It's only about 1 mile round trip but is a bit rocky. No scrambling required, but definitely recommend wearing tennis shoes. St Mary's is special to Brian and Kelly, they often hike up and ski down in the summer months to get some turns in and they also took their engagement photos there!
This hike is close to Keystone and offers beautiful views of the lake and mountain ranges surrounding summit county. This was Kelly's first "official" trail run she did with Brian and Luna.
The most bomb breakfast burritos in Denver! Pro tip - adding goat cheese to any burrito makes it not only more delicious but will have the BB crew thinking you're a local ;)
Blue Moon Bakery has some of the best baked goods in Colorado (and a very diverse selection). Brian and Kelly will stop here any chance they get when driving through Summit County. Some of our favorites include the Cannolis, 7 layer bars, peanut butter fudge brownies, and eclairs. But in truth, you can't go wrong no matter what you choose!
This is the most extreme disc golf course in the country (not fact checked)! The course traverses the ski slopes and has you gradually making your way up and down the mountain. It offers beautiful views and is a great way to spend a few hours outside.
Weather permitting - treat yourself to some scenic mountain views with a paddleboard or kayak rental from the Dillon Marina. Make sure to checkout the tiki bar and/or ice cream shop as well!
Loveland Pass is the scenic route to Keystone! Your GPS will likely try to route you along I-70 and down through Dillion. However, if you are looking for a drive with incredible views that will get you up to 11,990 and take you over the continental divide, then you will want to take Loveland Pass. Note - while the road is plenty wide and well maintained, it is a high mountain pass and there are limited guardrails!
