Travel & Places To Stay

The Wedding Website of Kayla Stoddard and Greg Woodbury

Flight

Durango - La Plata County Airport

This is the easiest option. Car rentals are available here as well.

Flight

Albuquerque International Airport

This is a cheaper option than flying into Durango. There is about a 3.5 hr drive to Durango but it might just save you some money.

Hotel

The Lodge at Tamarron

314 Tamarron dr
Durango, CO 81301

Please call to make these reservations and mention you are with Stoddard & Woodbury Wedding. We have blocked off 20 rooms for people to book. If you choose to stay here the entire time you are in town then you are welcome to. Just so you know it is about 25 minutes outside of town. If you want to stay elsewhere you can and just stay here for the wedding night as most people will be drinking that may be a smart idea. DO NOT drink and drive here. They are extremely strict and cops are everywhere looking for drunk drivers. We also have a lower blood alcohol limit. 0.5%. We do have Uber but it is pretty limited as we are a small town. This hotel is under renovation so there is a possibility the pool & hot tubs will not be in service. I will let you know if this changes.

House Or Rental

Airbnb

This option is great for people coming in groups! This will probably be cheaper then the local hotels. Get together will others coming to the wedding for a rental house instead!

Hotel

Downtown Hotels

In case you want to stay in the heart of downtown Durango I have added a couple of options here for you. These are comprised of the newest/best hotels that I know and have heard about. Fairfield Inn & Suits-this is one of the newer hotels in the area and is considered within walking distance to town. Located on rt 160 Leland House & Rochester Hotel- The Leland House and Rochester Hotels are a small family-owned historic hotels, renovated by mother-and-son team, Diane Wildfang and Kirk Komick. http://www.rochesterhotel.com/ The General Palmer Hotel- The prestigious General Palmer Hotel was built in the Victorian era in 1898 in historic downtown Durango. Within the charm of our historical setting we have added the comforts of modern living. http://generalpalmerhotel.com/ Hotels fill up quickly so if this is the route your thinking book a room ASAP.

Hotel

North Main st hotels

North of the historic Main st there are some hotels that may have better rates. However quality is what you will sacrifice. I can vouch for 1 hotel I have been in and that is the Quality Inn. The family that runs this place has done amazing renovations to the rooms and are some of the best I've seen at their price. Same rule applies book ASAP. From this hotel its 1.5 miles to walk into town. There are many other hotels in this area and instead of telling you which are great it would be easier to tell you what ones to stay away from. In no particular order: Spanish Trails, Iron Horse Inn, Budget Inn if you can stay away from those you should be good.
