Matron of Honor
Amanda and Carrie met in 2011. They quickly bonded over the love for the sun, summertime, pool days and reading books. She is a loyal, intentional and encouraging friend who is always there for Carrie. She and her family has always welcomed Carrie in their home whether it is hanging out, having dinner or playing with their children.
Best Man
Jacob and Grant met in 2011 at Colorado State University while Grant was a visiting high school student and Jacob was a tour guide. Flash forward a year and they became Sigma Nu fraternity brothers. Jacob and Grant have grown their friendship in the years after college over endless fishing, political, and business discussions.
Matron of Honor
Ellen and Carrie played on the Sereno Club Soccer team during high school. Carrie became the fourth sister at Ellen's house on weekends, even having her own trundle bed at their house. There are countless memories full of laughter, inside jokes and of course playing soccer. Ellen is a friend who always calls and texts to stay connected while providing much encouragement and love.
Best Man
Dan and Grant met through Sigma Nu fraternity. Dan won many fraternal awards for his loyalty as a brother and friend and continues that in his relationship with Grant today. Dan and Grant's bond grew exponentially after discovering Faith Evangelical Free Church's Sunday night sermons in Fort Collins.
Bridesmaid
A trip to Disneyland in 8th grade led to Alex and Carrie becoming amazing friends. Alex is adventurous and always ready for a good time. Her laughter and joyful spirit is contagious. No matter the distance, from Switzerland to Oklahoma, their friendship has remained strong and they can always pick right back up where they left off.
Groomsman
Cody was Grant's "little brother" in Sigma Nu. Their relationship took off when they were volunteer basketball coaches for the Fort Collins School District. Despite the 2014 Kinard 7th grade JV team going 0-6 and both coaches being ejected from at least one game, the two have remained close friends even while Cody lives in Hawaii and Grant in Oklahoma.
Bridesmaid
One day in kindergarten Ashlyn and Carrie learned that they were a short bike ride away from one another and lived in the same neighborhood. That was only the beginning of a friendship filled with fun and constant laughter. Decades later they still look forward to reminiscing and laughing over wine and a charcuterie board. Ashlyn is a friend that will drop everything if you need her. She is loyal, smart and always smiling.
Groomsman
Shaun and Grant were pledge brothers in Sigma Nu and immediately grew a close bond. The two shared a 550 square foot apartment their junior year where Shaun let Grant keep 5 bikes in the living room. Grant probably should have paid more in rent, but Shaun couldn't have been more supportive of Grant's racing days.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Carrie first met when her and her husband, Josh, had Carrie over for dinner once a month her senior year of college. Dinner nights led to the such a valued friendship full of support, encouragement and fun. Laura is a friend who will ask the hard questions and always call the best out in me. Her weekly texts or phone calls are full of truth, wisdom and love.
Groomsman
Ryon and Grant were high school golf teammates and then reconnected in 2020 playing golf in Oklahoma City. The two play together every week and are the regular organizers of the groups out of town golf trips. They've played countless holes of golf together over the years and equally have enjoyed countless post round Mexican beers.
Bridesmaid
A fourteen day mission trip to Mozambique solidified the friendship between Abby and Carrie. They quickly realized how much they had in common, so decided to be roommates for a year. They bonded over their love for wine, charcuterie boards and girls nights on the couch. Abby is a friend who is intentional, full of life and always ready for deep and vulnerable conversations.
Groomsman
Griffin is Grant's older brother by two years. Griffin and Grant have enjoyed many days skiing together in Crested Butte. Griffin has taught Grant everything he knows about handling firearms and according to Griffin, life.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Carrie met and instantly knew they were going to be friends. Even though they met only met two years ago, it feels as though they have been friends for a lifetime. Their friendship quickly grew as they played tennis weekly and spent hours talking while playing. Whether it’s going on walks, playing tennis and pickleball, or having a dinner night Lauren is the person to ask.
Groomsman
Cory is the older brother of the bride. Cory has been very welcoming of Grant into their family. He is a fire fighter and works long shifts, and despite having been awake for twenty-four hours straight at times, he always will come spend time with Carrie and Grant when the two are visiting the Whigham family in Phoenix. Grant looks forward to having another older brother to lean on.
Bridesmaid
Sydney is the groom's older sister. Sydney and Carrie quickly bonded over their love for happy hour, wine and being able to talk for hours. She is always smiling and up for a get together. She has been so intentional in getting to know Carrie and welcoming her into the family. Carrie is excited to having sisters and looks forward to all the good times ahead with Sydney.
Groomsman
Conner is the younger brother of the bride. Like Cory, he is a firefighter and after long shifts he still makes time to spend time with Carrie and Grant while they visit family in Phoenix. Conner and Grant have bonded over having both lived in Fort Collins and both enjoy golf. Grant looks forward to finally being an older brother.
Bridesmaid
Jane is the grooms younger sister. She is witty, funny and the most fun to be around. She is always up to play games but you must be warned that she wins the majority of the time. My favorite saying is when she wins a game she states “Never lost”. Carrie is constantly learning new facts and information from her. She is full of knowledge. Carrie is excited to have sisters and she cannot wait for the many more game night and hang outs with Jane.
Usher
Garrett, more commonly referred to as GB, is Grant's go to friend to call to grab last minute dinner at 3 Tequilas or to golf after work. The two became friends in 2019 while golfing with a mutual friend and continue to play weekly rounds of golf together and also participate in a men's basketball league during the winter.
House Party
Emily and Carrie met playing sand volleyball and quickly realized how similar they are. It is common for them to show up accidentally wearing the same outfit. There is never a dull moment in this friendship. They share the same passion for OU football and are the ones constantly yelling and jumping up and down during the games…Boomer Sooner! Whether watching sports, playing sports, walking the dogs or working out Emily is always the friend up for a good time.
Usher
Bryan and Grant became friends in 2020 after meeting, where else, but the golf course. Bryan always has a smile on and goes out of his way to make you feel valued as a friend. Bryan and Grant have bonded over their love of golf and both working in the construction industry. Like Grant, Bryan is passionate about club specials.
House Party
Allison and Carrie share the same competitive spirit as friends no matter the sport they play or watch. They always look forward to their weekly morning coffee outings at Cuppies and Joe where no topic is off limits. They value their friendship and enjoy all the time spent together.
Usher
Spencer and Grant were Sigma Nu fraternity brothers and have remained close. Despite Spencer living in Florida and Grant in Oklahoma, the two can call one another and pick up right where they left off. Spencer's enthusiasm for life is contagious, he is the ultimate "yes man" and always up for an adventure.
House Party
Mackenzie and Carrie met at church in 2015. Quickly, they bonded over being registered nurses and all the stories that come with the profession. Mackenzie is the friend who remains true to her values and is always keeping it real no matter what. Life can be crazy and chaotic but she is always making time for our friendship. Carrie loved having Mackenzie as a one of her preceptors for Nurse Practitioner school and seeing her in her element as an Emergency Department NP. Mackenzie is full of wisdom, knowledge, drive and compassion for others.
Usher
Tristan is the nephew of the Groom. Tristan has a huge heart and contagious laugh. Grant and Tristan started their bond over Tristan's love for bikes and he was always Grant's loudest cheerleader at the Oklahoma City Pro Am. Grant looks forward to continue watching Tristan grow into a young man.
Parents of the Bride
Lyle and Kristy are the proud parents of Carrie. Both are retired and living their best lives. They love playing golf, pickleball, being grandparents and spending quality time with family and friends. They are constantly active and on the go playing sports, games and hosting get togethers. Carrie has experienced their constant and unconditional love, support and encouragement her whole life. They have had an immense impact on her successes in life. Carrie is so thankful for her parents and she cannot wait to have them by her side on her wedding day.
Parents of the Groom
Jeff & Courtney are the proud parents of Grant and cannot wait to officially have Carrie in the family. Jeff and Courtney are high school sweet hearts and most enjoy being outside. They're regularly on the go in their RV or in Colorado skiing and hiking near Crested Butte. Jeff and Courtney love spending time with their children and grand children. Grant is very excited to have them be apart of the wedding day.
