Nic's Place

1116 North Robinson Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73103

We recommend making a stop at our first date spot! Head downstairs to the basement and grab a cocktail and don't forget the cheesecake.

Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes

1000 North Hudson Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102
, (405) 702-6922

Barrios is one of our favorite spots in Oklahoma City for margaritas and Mexican food. The patio in October is great!

Lake Hefner

Oklahoma City, OK

Lake Hefner is a great spot to enjoy the Friday night sunset. On the west side of the lake you will find one of our favorite dinner spots, Red Rock Grill. Lake Hefner also has a great public golf course and extensive running and bicycle trails.

Bricktown (nightlife)

Oklahoma City, OK

Bricktown is the hub for Oklahoma City nightlife featuring bars, clubs, and restaurants. If you're wanting to enjoy live music, we recommend making a stop to Michael Murphy's Dueling Piano Bar. For a country bar experience, put on your cowboy boots and go to Cowboy Ranch.

Plaza District

Oklahoma City, OK 73106

Plaza District is on the west side of OKC and features one of our favorite pizza spots, Empire Slice house! Don't forget the pink sauce on your pizza. You can also enjoy Roxy's ice cream for dessert or wind down at Oak & Ore.

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum

620 North Harvey Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102
, (405) 235-3313

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is an incredible experience. The bombing took place April 19th, 1995 and pre 9/11 was the largest terrorist attack on U.S. soil. The museum and memorial is a transformative experience for any attendees.

The Mont/OU Campus Walk

1300 Classen Boulevard, Norman, OK 73071
, (405) 329-3330

If you're in town early and want to see what brought Carrie to Oklahoma, head 25 minutes south to Norman. Start out with lunch at The Mont, don't forget a swirl (sangria & margarita mixed)! After having a couple of swirls, the beautiful OU campus is a great place to stretch your legs and enjoy the historic gothic architecture during the fall colors.

Scissortail Park

Oklahoma City, OK 73109

If you're wanting to spend a day on a picnic blanket and enjoying the fall weather, take a short walk across the street from either hotel and hang out at Scissortail Park. Don't be surprised if there is live music and food trucks.

Oklahoma River (kayaking, rowing, running, cycling)

Oklahoma City, OK

If you're wanting to give man made rapids a try, head south of downtown to the Oklahoma River! This is also a great spot to start a run or bike ride.
