Everybody loves a good Romeo and Juliet love story, but this is more like Carmen Sandiego meets Where’s Waldo. Two people that at any day of the week could have been anywhere in the world, just so happened to be in Atlanta during Super Bowl weekend. This isn’t a typical fairy tale love story with a glass slipper and a horse & carriage. This love story involves a snickers and dinner at Taco Mac. As fans from around the world geared up for the greatest show on turf; little did these two know this weekend would change their lives forever. Walking through the convention center, Brittany mentioned she wanted to visit the Snickers booth to satisfy her sweet tooth. To her surprise there was not a snickers anywhere to be found. This had to be a joke. NO snickers? Bryan made sure she didn’t leave there empty handed. He was going to find this chocolate bar; so concerned because he had a little crush on her. She’s smart, hilarious, altruistic, and beautiful. He tracked down a snickers like a repo man looking for that car you missed 6 payments on. After sliding her the snickers, it was at the moment they both knew this was deeper than snack. They decided to meet later at Taco Mac. A boujie Taco Bell, this certainly was not the most ideal or romantic 1st date location, but it was late and they had a great happy hour special. They laughed and talked all night, not even Mr. T could separate them. They decided they would ride back to the airport together after the big game. One Uber ride later, the two parted ways; one back to chilly Naptown; the other back to sunny H-Town. But the connection was there; so powerful they would decide to share their love for years to come. After 30 hour car rides across the country, flight after flight after flight after flight, plus countless text, FaceTimes, and phone calls later, here we are. And in the great words of the world famous Frankie Beverly, WE ARE ONE!
