When should I book lodging in Hood River?

Answer

Please consider booking a hotel or vacation rental ASAP! Lodging in Hood River can get pricey, so the earlier you book, the more options you will have. We recommend staying at one of the hotels listed on the Travel page or at an AirBnB or VRBO. Note that some of the hotels do not open up for reservations until a few months out from the reservation date. Anything in walking distance of the hotels in downtown Hood River would be a great spot to pick if you plan on attending the after party. If you don't mind driving to/from the venue, then it would also be reasonable to book a rental or hotel in White Salmon, where there are more abundant and affordable options.

Can I bring a "plus one?"

Answer

Unless it is stated on your invitation, please assume that you cannot bring a "plus one." We wish we could invite more people but the 100 year old barn venue can only handle so many.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love children so much and really wish we could have them at the wedding, we made the tough decision to have an adults-only wedding. The only children present will be Lindsay's nieces and nephews, who will be performing their duties as flower children/ring bearers. When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you know your plans, we would love to know whether or not you can make it to our wedding. Please fill out the online RSVP no later than 3 months prior to our wedding date. While we would love for everyone to be there, we understand that not everyone will be able to make it and that it can be tough to make it to a destination wedding.

What about gifts?

Answer

Your love and support is the greatest gifts of all! We do not expect gifts from any of our guests, but anything that people may choose to give will be greatly appreciated. See our Registry page for gift or fund contribution ideas. We do not have many physical gifts on our registry because we have lived together for over 4 years so already have many household items. Additionally, we are big advocates of the reduce-reuse-recycle lifestyle, and so prefer to get many of our belongings through local consignment stores. We love to travel and also plan to buy a house soon-- two things that can be expensive! We would be honored to receive any contributions towards these goals.
