Your presence is our present. Seriously. We are asking a lot of you to make the journey to Palm Springs to celebrate our special day with us! That said, we are most gracious for any gifts you wish to give and can find some options on our registry page of the website. As we will be traveling to Palm Springs and then right to our honeymoon, we kindly ask you not bring any physical presents with you.
Yes, airport code PSP! And there are even nonstop flights from New York-JFK on JetBlue and now Alaska Airlines. JetBlue has an evening flight and Alaska a daylight flight. There are also nonstop flights to most major cities and connecting hubs like Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix and Seattle. You can also fly from Oakland, San Francisco and even Los Angeles. Most flights going east leave PSP between 5am-1pm or are redeyes so plan accordingly for Sunday. Southwest does fly to Palm Springs so be sure to take a look on their website since they don't show up on flight search engines. You can also fly to surrounding city airports such as Los Angeles (LAX), Ontario (ONT), San Diego (SAN) or Santa Ana (SNA) but be sure to allow between 2-5 hours of driving time, especially on a weekend.
Yes! We have a limited room block at The Rowan for Friday-Sunday and you can book via the link on the Travel page of our website. The $25 resort fee does include valet parking and airport transfer. Note, you do not have to stay in the room block should your budget or party size require other arrangements (we have provided some recommended options).
We know arriving Thursday night may be more appealing, especially for those coming from the East Coast. If this is an option you are considering, please note The Rowan where we have a room block for the weekend has offered to extend the room rate to Thursday night should you want to stay there for all 3 nights (subject to availability). That said, we suggest you look at booking Thursday night separately first as it may be cheaper. If not, please book all 3 nights using our dedicated link and email yokli.oktavianto@rowanpalmsprings.com and they will adjust the rate for you so it is the same for all 3 nights.
Yes! If you are staying at The Rowan, you will be able to leave your bags with the bellhop. Feel free to inquire around a late check out as this may be available. If you are staying at another hotel or vacation rental, you can bring your bags with you to the pool party on Sunday and store them at the house.
The weather in early March is on average between mid 70s to high 80s during the day and in the low 50s at night. We highly recommend you bring layers and a light jacket for the evening. Also be sure to pack the sunscreen and bathing suit!
Yes! We have a welcome reception planned for 7pm on Friday at Boozehounds. We would love for you to join us there but understand if your travel arrangements won't make it possible.
Our dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire with a desert flair - think pastels, earth tones. And please bring layers as it will get cooler once the sun goes down and wear comfy shoes for dancing!
Please ensure you are at The Rowan to catch a shuttle no later than 3:30pm as there will not be another option to reach the venue. There is street and garage parking around The Rowan but we suggest a car share service.
The ceremony and reception, as well as dinner will all take place outside with dancing inside the venue. Please bring layers as it tends to get cooler once the sun goes down!
We have to be off the venue grounds no later than 9:30pm and shuttles will begin at 9pm to bring everyone back to The Rowan. There will be an after party right after at Hunter's, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. We will also ensure you have some late night bites to provide stamina to dance the night away!
We are still finalizing the reception dinner but will ask you share any dietary restrictions in your RSVP and will also follow up should we need you to select meal choices!
