This year we can't wait to renew our vows with all of you as our witness. Our 2021 event will feel a lot like our original plans- a ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner & dancing together. Please see our message below about Coronavirus safety, explore the tabs above, and visit our FAQ page for any remaining questions you might have.
As COVID-19 cases continue to decline, vaccination increases across the US and CDC guidance is loosened, we finally feel like we can hold a safe celebration of our marriage with all of you- our closest family & friends. We do not take the decision to hold a large gathering lightly and understand that some of you may still feel uncomfortable gathering this fall. If this is you, please do not feel pressure to attend. Your comfort and safety has and always will be our top priority. A couple of key details are: We will hold our event in full compliance with local distancing and capacity limits We plan to hold events outdoors when possible. The welcome reception will be indoors. In the event of rain, our ceremony will be held in a greenhouse (150p seated capacity), and cocktail hour will be held in our open-air, tented reception space (250p seated capacity) Please bring a mask with you We ask that you indicate your vaccination status in your RSVP If you are not vaccinated by 9-12-21 please confirm a negative COVID-19 test within 1 week of our event As of 8-3-21, our entire attending guest list is fully vaccinated
A message from 2020: The global coronavirus pandemic has upended our lives as we know them. Many of you have been impacted by COVID-19 directly and indirectly. We lament the lives lost due to this health crisis, and hope you and your family stay safe and healthy. As cases surge across the country, we have chosen not to congregate for our wedding this year. Our hearts were set on having you all witness our marriage ceremony, which is why we would love to share a livestream of our ceremony with you all here. If you missed the live event, please reach out to us for a recording. A message from 2021: 9.12.2020 was the day we were joined together in marriage at our church in Berkeley, CA. Physically our immediate family was present. Virtually, all of you were there! We look back on this day as the happiest and best day of 2020 - an amazingly bright spot amidst such a dark year. Looking back, we feel incredibly blessed to have had such intimate time with our parents and siblings.
CoffeeMeetsBagel- that's the San Francisco-based dating app that connected us back in 2017. Our first date was at Caffe Strada in Berkeley, CA, (hence the website password) where we bonded about our east coast roots, our love for coffee, our passions for the environment and our faith.
