We had met several times before, but we finally became acquainted at our college graduation. We quickly found we shared a love of sea creatures, bad jokes, and good friends. We spent most of the graduation weekend together and didn't stop talking everyday for months after. After a rugby tournament, a wedding, and a family vacation together, we made it official.

After a year of hopping back and forth on weekend adventures, Michael made the big jump down to San Diego and we started living together. We have had the chance to grow, learn, share adventures, and build a life together over the past six years.

Michael proposed to me on top of the arroyos on the beach at sunrise in San Felipe, Mexico at the end of a fantastic family vacation.
