A local favorite breakfast spot that is a no-frills all-American menu.

Jesse's favorite spot to grab breakfast or lunch after playing pickleball or a hike!

The Covey

One of Alex and Jesse's favorite restaurants in Sun Valley. We recommend making a reservation and the beef tartare is one of Alex's favorite meals.

Cookbook Restaurant

Another one of our favorites! Excellent spot to grab pizza and pasta. This is another place we recommend making a reservation.

Rickshaw

Best Asian restaurant in the valley! They don't take reservations and wait times can sometimes be lengthy.

Despo’s

The tex-mex restaurant Alex grew up eating at every summer with her family. Casual and no reservations are needed.

Grumpy's

Best burgers in town! A casual joint that is a favorite among us and locals. Definitely worth a trip for a burger you will not forget.

Best rooftop in town to grab a cocktail or a snack.

Golfing

Bike Riding

Rent bikes here at Sturtevants of Sun Valley in Ketchum and go for a bike ride on the 22 mile out-and-back bike trail that connects Ketchum to Hailey.

Racquet Sports

There are many places to play tennis and pickleball in Sun Valley. There are free courts for both tennis and pickleball at Atkinson's Park in Ketchum. But, if you are staying at Sun Valley Resort or Elkhorn Village there are courts there as well.

Hiking

Baldy Mountain

Inside of Ketchum is the ski mountain that people enjoy hiking up in the summer. Great workout in sneakers and easy to get to!

Adam's Gulch trailhead

Easy hike that is within Ketchum and would be easy for people who do not have access to a rental car or do not want to drive far.

Titus Lake

You will need a rental car to access this hike, but it is one of our favorite hikes to do in the summer. It is a 4 mile hike out-and-back and can be done in sneakers. The hike ends at a beautiful lake within the Smokey Mountains.

Baker Lake

Another great easy-moderate hike that is 3.6 mile out-and-back that can be done in sneakers. Ends at a beautiful lake.

Outside the Valley

Galena Lodge

Where we are having our rehearsal dinner, but a great area for hiking and mountain biking during the day. 30 minutes outside Sun Valley/Ketchum and rental car would be needed to access.

Redfish Lake

Alex's favorite place in the entire world! We will be providing free transportation to/from Sun Valley Lodge on Sunday after the wedding to Redfish Lake.

Stanley

We truly think this is one of the most scenic drives in the world. You will drive by 5 different mountain ranges: Smoky Mountains, Pioneer Mountains, White Clouds Mountains, Boulder Mountains - and our favorite - The Sawtooth Mountains! Stanley is a small town with a few restaurants, bars and our favorite bakery. 1-1.5 hours outside of Ketchum/Sun Valley.

White Otter Outdoor Adventures

There are so many white water rafting company options in Stanley, but this is just one that Alex has done!

Stanley Baking Company & Café

An hour drive outside of Sun Valley, but hands down the best pancakes ever! There is usually a line out the door for their famous sourdough and oatmeal pancakes.
