There are over 30 wineries in Chelan and Manson and they all have their own unique draw! We recommend selecting a few and spending a day wine tasting. Some of our favorite places to go (besides our obvious favorite that we've selected as our wedding venue, Tsillan Cellars) are Lake Chelan Winery, Cairdeas, Rio Vista Winery, Fielding Hills Winery and Succession-- but there are so many great ones to try, we haven't made it to all of them yet!
Rent kayaks or paddle boards at Lake Chelan State Park. We’ve rented kayaks there before, and there’s nothing like a quiet morning on the water! Campbell’s Resort also has rentals for their guests as well.
There are lots of boutique shops in downtown. You could easily spend some time before or after a meal exploring the local shops. Because of the Historic Downtown Chelan Association, the city of Chelan is one of only 13 cities that are designated as Washington State Main Street.
See the lake from a new perspective! Lake Chelan Helicopters offers a variety of tours: a tour of Lake Chelan, a tour up to Stehekin, or a wine valley tour.
Take the Lady of the Lake passenger ferry 50 miles uplake to visit one of the most remote towns in the country. No roads lead to Stehekin, it’s only accessible by boat. (Or hiking!) You can visit Stehekin as a day trip or stay overnight at the lodge.
The Bavarian town of Leavenworth is only 55 miles west of Chelan. There are tons of good restaurants in Leavenworth and lots of fun things to do!
If you're a fan of golf, this is a beautiful course with views of the lake that has a restaurant, rental clubs, rental carts, and golf lessons.
