If you have any other questions than what we've listed here, feel free to shoot us a text. Abby's # is: 8675-309. Just kidding. It's (215) 933-8014. Asher's # is (818) 294-5545
Question

WHAT'S THE WEDDING / WEEKEND ITINERARY?

Answer

FRIDAY Oct 20th: We're going apple picking at Solebury Orchards the day before the wedding - and we'd love to see and hangout with everyone coming into town early! We'll be at the orchards around 11AM - 1PM. It's an open invite, anyone who wants to join is welcome to stop by, and it would be great to see you there. (**this is weather-depending. We might get rained out and if we do, we'll let you know!) SATURDAY October 21st: The big day! The most important thing is to arrive ON TIME on the 21st, at NOON. We'll be partying at Triumph until 5PM. Lunch, snacks, and open bar included. SATURDAY NIGHT: For those who'd like to keep the conversation (and dancing) going after hours, we'll be sticking around the brewery for a bit after 5PM and hanging around town the rest of the evening. We won't have any specific reservations, but we'll let you know where we're at via the biggest group text of your life. SUNDAY: Abby & Asher will be hanging out at the New Hope Ferry Market (about 5 min away from the wedding venue) from 11AM-1PM on Sunday for some brunch! If you have time before you hit the road, we'd love for you to stop by for a bite and some farewells. The Ferry Market is a food hall with SO many choices of what to eat. Something for everyone :)

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

If we invited your kid, then yes. Please don't pick up any extra ones en route.

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

No. The only love that exists on this day is OUR love. Just kidding. If your invitation says "and guest" you're good to bring a date. If not, we'd prefer to have you all to ourselves.

Question

WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

"Dressy Casual" is the closest thing to what we're picturing when we Googled it. We'd love for everyone to look nice (your picture will probably be taken and immortalized in our photo albums for generations to come), but there are stairs at the venue and we want you to feel comfortable dancing your tuchus off. Abby's wearing a beautiful dress and Asher's wearing a fine ass suit, but probably won't be wearing a tie. And both of us are wearing sneakers. So, you do with that what you will. Weather wise, New Hope in October is typically the best thing in the world. Perfect autumn crisp, foliage, the whole deal. That said - it could get chilly and if G-d hates us, then it could end up raining, too. (Asher wrote this. Rain is good. That's how you avoid a drought, Mr. Californian!!) You never know. So - dress accordingly and we'll update you like a week before the wedding with a more accurate weather report.

Question

WHAT'S THE FOOD SITUATION?

Answer

We're getting married at Triumph Brewing Company, which has an amazing lineup of local, seasonal food in store for us. A steady stream of appetizers, lunch, and desert will be served after the ceremony, from aprox 1PM - on. Abby is vegetarian - so about half the food will be veggie friendly. Just don't get hangry, okay? If you have any further dietary restrictions - let us know ahead of time and we'll make sure there's something there for you. Also - we have an open bar for the whole time we're there. It's a Brewery so the beer is great and so is everything else. Go crazy! We don't care, unless you're driving.

Question

WHEN DO I HAVE TO RSVP BY?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 1st at the latest. But the earlier we know, the sooner we can pull out the flashcards to remember a few fun facts about you. RSVP here on our website - no need to mail us, unless you LOVE the US Postal Service.

Question

HOW DO I GET TO THE WEDDING? WHERE DO I STAY?

Answer

Please see the "travel & stay" section of our website for all our travel & stay recs. We DO have a Hotel Block.

Question

IS THERE TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. If you're staying in the Hampton Inn in Newtown, PA as part of our hotel block - you'll need a car or plan to get an Uber. If you want, we could hook you up with others staying at the block for some carpooling action. If you're staying at a B&B in either New Hope or Lambertville, it's a SUPER walkable area, even in bad weather - so you could probably just walk right to the venue.

Question

IS THERE PARKING?

Answer

Yes. There's a huge parking lot right outside the venue. It's about $2/hour and you can use the "Parkmobile" app or available Kiosks to pay. There's also a parking lot at New Hope Solebury High School down the road (where the only other cars in the lot will be for Breakfast Club kids there for Saturday detention) and a few public parking lots nearby in New Hope, walking distance away. If you're worried about walking - let us know in advanced and we'll arrange someone to drive you to the door the day of.

Question

WILL THIS BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Mostly indoors, but if the weather permits - the venue has a huge, awesome outdoor patio with lots of seating - so you can sit and eat right by the scenic train tracks. Inside, Triumph has SUPER high ceilings and lots of air flow inside, though, so hopefully you feel covid safe no matter where you are.

Question

ANY RESTAURANT RECS WHILE I'M IN TOWN?

Answer

Jules Pizza - in Newtown & Doylestown. Full Moon Cafe - Lambertville (just across the bridge from our Venue) Sprig & Vine - New Hope (Vegan, literally right next to the venue) Lambertville Station Restaurant - great views! Under the Moon Cafe - Lambertville, NJ Ferry Market Food Hall - something for everyone in New Hope! Wild Ginger (Chinese Food) - It's not Christmas, but the Jews can still enjoy Ooka - Doylestown - great sushi! Crosskeys Diner - Doylestown OWowCow Creamery - best ice cream ever Your B&B - most of them will actually make you breakfast!

Question

WHAT'S THE ACCESSIBILITY, HEALTH & SAFETY SITCH?

Answer

The venue does have two floors - the main floor and a sort of lofted auxiliary seating area. Unfortunately, there is no elevator to the second story. However, we're pretty sure the action will be spread out between floors, as the second floor is exclusively additional seating. There will be several ASL interpreters attending the wedding, and the ceremony will be interpreted as well. Abby is also able to communicate "Mom, I'm hungry." and "More spaghetti please!" should you need that in conversation. Covid-Wise, if you feel most comfortable in a mask, please wear one! Asher will be wearing one to avoid Fall allergies, too. We DO have a lot of immunocompromised people in our circle - so a lot of guests will be Covid-conscious and please be mindful. You can all but guarantee anyone in the Berke/Farkas family will have hand sanitizer on them at all times. We're asking people to please not come if you're sick - we'll celebrate with you individually at a later date:) If you have any other special circumstances or concerns, please reach out.

Question

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE/POST PHOTOS ON SOCIAL?

Answer

Asher is self-righteously off social media and Abby associates it with work, but feel free! We just might not like it, but we're not ghosting you, we swear! Also there will be no wedding hashtag. None. Even though A&AsSpecialDay is super cute. No. Negative.

Question

WILL YOU BE LIVE-STREAMING?

Answer

Disney+ has not reached out to us about covering the event, but this could change.

Question

WHAT ARE YOUR SIGNS?

Answer

Asher is an Aquarius and Abby is a Virgo, but right on the Libra cusp. Thanks for asking.
