Abby & Asher met in the Fall of 2015 writing for NYU's satirical paper, Washington Square Local (pen names not divulged for personal and professional reasons). Since then, they've been writing, drawing, traveling & cooking together, when they're not under strict belly rub demands by Oscar, the Farkas family Australian Shepherd. He's going to be on this site A LOT.

Asher proposed to Abby on Moonstone Beach in Cambria, CA on a rock hounding excursion - it's a thing! Google it! - on her birthday in 2022. For those who are curious, no, he did not get down on one knee. Even better, he was flat on his stomach. After the proposal, they spent several days on the Central Coast of California picnicking, hiking, and enjoying the beach.
