About this venue

Hello! We're Natalie and Aldo, the couple behind Silas House Inn and Barn. Silas House is a historic dairy farm and house in the Catskill Mountains of New York. The home has lived many lives and in summer 2024, we reopened it as a boutique B&B. The Barn is 5,000 sqft of event space with the lower barn fully renovated and staged for your next event. The upper lofted barn will see further modernization in Spring 2024 and is the perfect reception and indoor ceremony space. Behind the barn is two acres of sprawling lawn including raised bed gardens and mountain views. We're so excited to share Silas with couples in 2025 and beyond!

Upper Lofted Barn

Historic beauty and unique character meets modern charm

Our upper barn features 30 foot lofted ceilings, exposed 100 year old beams and the original floors dating back to the 1800s. This open space has huge double barn doors leading to the lawn. Updated flooring, insulation and modern touches will be added to this space in Spring 2025 in time for late summer celebrations.

Lower Barn

When you want a barn wedding, but you don't want to feel like you're in a barn

This space has 2,000sqft of furnished space to enjoy and celebrate a limitless amount of occasions during your wedding weekend. Welcome guests for an informal, yet elegant party, kickoff cocktail hour or wind down after the reception with a game of pool. All furniture is available with the rental and can be shifted and rearranged as desired.

    The Silas House Inn was the perfect venue for a wedding weekend. From the moment we reached out, the staff was thoughtful, friendly, and incredibly informative; helping us feel at ease. The venue was full of natural light, with an open, quaint feel. We enjoyed beautiful mountain views, providing an idyllic backdrop. The homemade waffles were a delicious way to start the day, and the stunning sunsets we enjoyed on the patio were the perfect end to our evenings. We are so grateful to the Silas House Inn team for helping make our special day so magical.

    Silas House Inn was the gift that kept on giving. We booked the entire gorgeous Inn for some of our wedding guests and hosted our Welcome Ceremony in the newly renovated barn.. Cozy seating indoor with bites and drinks and fire pits going outdoors.... You could see stars for miles. Aldo and Natalie went above and beyond for all our guests. I can't say enough about all the love and attention to detail they put into the space and our event to make it unforgettable. You will in great hands with this duo!
