    I can sum up in one sentence why you should hire Best Day Details to coordinate your wedding. Nothing went wrong; and if it did, Emily solved the problem before I ever knew or realized. Emily was SO helpful. She took charge, and ensured all the vendors were on the same page. While wedding planning, she answered many questions for me and helped reassure me if I was stuck between options. As a type A bride, who was nervous about everything, it was so nice to be able to spend my day relaxing, hanging out with my friends and family, and not having to worry. Every bride needs an Emily. So don’t get a knock off, get the real deal so you can enjoy your wedding day as much as I enjoyed mine.

    Hiring Monica with Best Day Details was one of the first things we did when wedding planning and now that we had our big day I can definitely say it was one of the best things we did as well. She allowed me to have a completely stress-free day! Having our meetings prior helped me stay on top of things and not do everything at the last minute. She also recommended several vendors for me that ended up being absolutely lovely. She handled the little problems on the day of, like a missing place card and table number, and our entire day ran on schedule. I loved that my friends and family didn’t have to help us pack up at the end of the night because Monica and her assistant had it covered. My bridesmaid even joked that her voice and demeanor was so calm that she felt more calm too. She was kind, professional, and helped give us that “fairytale” day we hoped for. She also took some videos throughout the day for us that were so amazing to see the next day! Every bride should have a day of coordinator, and if you’re able you should definitely hire Monica!

    We cannot thank Elysia and the whole team at The Best Day Details enough for being the absolute MVP of our wedding! From the very beginning, she was attentive and organized, guiding us through every step of the planning process. Before the Week: Elysia was incredibly helpful during the planning stage, which I hadn’t necessarily expected since it was primarily coordinating services rather than full planning. Thank goodness for that! She offered invaluable advice and suggestions that made logistics so much easier. She coordinated with vendors, handled logistics, and took care of so many other details. Before the Ceremony: On the day of the wedding, Elysia was calm and composed. She managed the timeline expertly (which is saying a lot since I must have been a bit frantic with everything I crammed in), ensured everything was in place, and resolved some last-minute issues. During the Ceremony: She made sure everything went off without a hitch! The energy during the ceremony was so much fun because she took care of anything that could have made it challenging. During the Reception: Now THIS is where Elysia was the real MVP. There were some significant timing, logistics, and vendor obstacles, and Elysia handled ALL of them. Her attention to detail made our day, and everyone else's, just incredible. She kept everything running smoothly, managed the timeline, and addressed any concerns we had without us even noticing. Elysia made our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. We couldn't have done it without her expertise and dedication. If you're looking for someone who will truly go above and beyond, look no further!

    Hiring Emily was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day. We were hesitant at first about hiring a day of coordinator as we thought we had it handled and we had family members that had offered to take care of random jobs day of; however, after our first informal meeting with Emily to discuss what The Best Day Details had to offer, we were 100% sold on the idea of a day of coordinator. Emily described her services and everything that she had to offer during that meeting, but the one thing that stuck out the most when we expressed our hesitance on the need of a coordinator is how she described the day of coordinator as like a doula in the labor and delivery process. Someone you don’t HAVE to hire, but someone who is there for YOU and your wishes and plans when you may not be in the most ideal scenario to do so yourself. After this analogy, we were no longer debating on the decision to hire a coordinator and we knew Emily was the answer. She is BEYOND organized, efficient, an excellent leader, and communicator. She was on top of everything! She took a lot of the stress out on the week of the wedding by contacting all of the vendors and confirming all the little details. She even went above and beyond for us when we met the week of the wedding and we had mentioned we were not getting the best vibe from our DJ company. Our DJ and music was one of the most important pieces for us when we were planning our wedding because of how big a role music plays in our lives. We had spent a great deal of time researching DJs, reading reviews, getting personal recommendations, and had booked a specific DJ a year in advance. But all of this was out the window when our company switched our DJ and did not inform us that our original had left months prior until we called to confirm the week before our wedding. Emily could tell we were frustrated by this but we thought there was nothing we could do. She did not accept this and stated she was going to call our DJ company. The very next day, she called me saying she was able to break our contract with our original DJ and hire a new one THE WEEK OF OUR WEDDING. Not only did she hire a brand new DJ the week of, she hired a FANTASTIC DJ and for the same if not better price. I don’t think I would have trusted anyone else to make a major decision like this for us. Day of, Emily was the kindest, most affirmative, attentive, and quite literally hero of the day. She was able to be assertive in making sure our plans and details were carried out to the fullest and family members or acts of God were not going to intervene. She was able to think on the fly and redirect when needed. She has contingency plans ready for if something doesn’t go right. She made everything run smoothly (even when things weren’t going exactly 100% as planned and I wholeheartedly believe we would not be married today if it weren’t for the organization and expertise of Emily. She has a fantastic personality and attitude that is perfect for the role of handling stressed out brides and I am not joking when I think of just how grateful we are that we had Emily be a part of our big day on a daily basis. We are forever thankful for Emily and the dedication she puts into her brides and business with The Best Day Details.
