Be YOUnique Events, LLC is a standout wedding and event planning company based in Tampa Bay, Florida. Founded by Melissa Millour, a Saint Petersburg native, the company draws from her rich background in the arts. Inspired by her father, a copper artist, and the creative, eccentric environment she grew up in, Melissa developed a passion for bringing artistic vision to life in the world of event planning. She recognized that coordinating and designing events requires a similar attention to detail, creativity, and conceptual thinking as traditional artistry.

Just as artists create custom pieces tailored to their clients’ desires, Melissa personalizes each event to reflect the unique vision of her clients, turning their ideas into beautifully executed occasions. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. With professional experience in luxury hospitality settings, she has planned a myriad of various events including weddings, holiday parties, corporate meetings, conferences, tradeshows, and social events. Following her dream of starting her own event planning company, she obtained her Wedding and Event Planning Certification from Lovegevity’s Wedding Planning Institute (LWPI) in 2024.
