I’ve been attached to my camera for the past 15 years and have done a little of everything, with work appearing in Marie Claire, on book covers, in web catalogues and in family albums. Whatever your needs are, I’ll be happy to curate exactly what you want. My shoots are fun, relaxed, and range from quirky to poetic. I choose to set my prices at a competitive rate because I don’t think that professional, quality photos should be a luxury item — they should be accessible to everyone. Description

Elopements or courthouse ceremonies and your reception through the cake-cutting. Posed photos of the wedding party and candid moments of guests. Will also photograph your cake and other special decoration details from your day.

Off-peak pricing $750-900

Description

Captures pre-ceremony wedding preparation, ceremony itself, & the reception. Willing to travel to any locations, up to 2 hours from Portland, but can be discussed if further. A second photographer can be offered to ensure coverage of precious moments. A Polaroid camera can capture “retro” snaps. You’ll have access to all of the original photos within three days. Edited favorites can be retouched on a scale from “light” to “practically perfect” levels, delivered at a later date.

    My daughter hired Marlarkey Media for her wedding and I thought the results were wonderful. So many great candid shots of the people who were there celebrating on top of all the important couple photos. And tho I am no expert, I thought her photo editing was really perfect, but probably because she erased just the right number of wrinkles from the mother of the bride--I know I look better but no one else would be able to tell. This was an easy five stars.

    Larkin's communication style was gentle, effective, and supportive, putting me at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of her work is subtle, natural, but intimate. She took beautiful photos of me in my wedding dress, shoes, garter belt, and ring. It was such a casual, care-free experience. She gave me supportive feedback and let me see the photos as we went along. She was receptive to my suggestions and requests, and delivered the unedited originals quickly, followed by my edited favorites. I am beyond satisfied with Malarkey Media's services and will absolutely be using her again for future events.

    Larkin is very quick to respond to inquiries, and makes the process of booking photography painless. Her experience and talent shows as she is able to execute the shoot efficiently, while still capturing every detail. Lots of photographers now use filters and AI to touch up photos in an effort to get as many photos processed as possible quickly, but Larkin gives each photo the time and attention that it warrants, one by one, all by hand. This kind of attention to detail is what truly sets her apart as an artist, and it shows. She truly wants to make sure her clients are happy with the end result, and she will keep working until that happens. Highly, highly recommend!
