I never meant to be a wedding photographer - but somehow, here I am. I started my career as a newspaper reporter, and left that to be a writer and photographer for a public university. Almost 10 years into my second career, I was laid off - so I turned some pretty sour lemons into Lemonade Photography. I'm a lifelong Northwesterner, a mom to two boys, a nature lover, a proud geek and quite possibly the biggest Harry Potter fan you'll ever meet (don't challenge me to a Potter trivia contest; you WILL lose). I love to laugh, and I love to make my clients laugh along with me.

Hiring a wedding photographer is a leap of faith – you’re putting some of the most important photos of your life in the hands of a stranger. Hey, hi! Let’s not be strangers any more. Think of me as your ally. You’ll spend more time on your wedding day with your photographer than any other vendor. Don’t you want to be sure that person is in your corner? I am, 100%.
