I've been photographing weddings full time since 2011. When I'm not chasing after wedding parties, my husband and I live to travel. We're avid scuba divers, love exploring, and get overly excited when we find a new brewery or speakeasy. We met at the University of Michigan and we stayed in Ann Arbor because it felt too much like home to leave.

I've worked with Chelsea for close to a decade, and after our first couple of weddings together she has been a top recommendation for my couples and friends throughout that time, to the point that she was our own wedding photographer. Her warmth, listening, and creative instructions made it easy to take pictures throughout the day, and that same ability to communicate and be friendly makes her ideal to collaborate with as a vendor. It's hard to explain how much poise and adaptability is needed to be great at weddings, but Chelsea sets herself apart from just being a great photographer (which she is!) with these skills that make her great on a wedding day.

I had a lot of wonderful vendors for my wedding, but Chelsea was by far my favorite. She was very timely in her communications and really listened to what my husband/I wanted to achieve with our photos. On the day of, she was professional and helped us relax and have fun! We lived out of state so couldn't do engagement photos, so she was very flexible with working with us to customize our package based on our needs. I highly recommend working with Chelsea- you won't regret it!

Chelsea is a pleasure to work with! Willing to get any shot we have requested, but also does an amazing job capturing all the photos we didn't even know we needed! Most couples book 18 months to 1 year from their wedding date. You’ll get your pick of vendors this way! Elopements and intimate weddings book a bit closer to the actual wedding date.

To book a wedding date, I require a $1000 deposit and a signed agreement. I am unfortunately unable to hold dates without a deposit.

The balance on all wedding day coverage is due 30 days before the wedding date.

YES! I love to travel and have traveled as far as Paris for a wedding. All I ask is that you cover the travel expenses for my second shooter and I. Please contact me for more details. I've been known to give amazing deals for unique venues and locations!

This depends entirely on the wedding and the time allowed for photography. Contact me for more information and we’ll talk about details!

Turn around time for wedding galleries is typically 4-6 weeks, depending on the time of year.

I've shot in everything from wine cellars to dark apartments. I haven’t met a church or reception venue that I couldn't light!

Thankfully, I've never had this issue and hope I never will. If your wedding day package includes a 2nd photographer (most do), the 2nd photographer would step up to document your day with no problem. They or I would also find an available 2nd to assist them.

Yes, please do! However, keep in mind that your wedding will have it's own "Pinterest worthy" photographs. Don't stress about creating moments or photographs that you saw online; let your day unfold naturally and you'll have your own amazing memories that will outshine any random photograph you saw on Pinterest.
