I'm a Michigan Native and moved north 6 years ago - best decision I've ever made. I prefer whiskey and lakeside campfires, but I also love a night out on the town. I'm a mom, major cat lady, and I'm currently loving Seinfield reruns. I'm a teacher by degree, and have worked in the event industry for years. I'm a big true crime junkie - podcasts, books, shows - all of it, but I cannot for the life of me watch a scary movie. I believe the best moments happen in the in-between, and these in-betweens tell our story. I love stopping time in these moments, just for a minute, so you can tell your story for years to come.

When you work with me, I hope you feel like family. I pride myself in making my clients experience EASY and FUN from start to finish. I want you to have a blast when we're creating your images and remember exactly how you FELT in those moments. I deliver images that capture that emotion as well as the classic images you'll treasure, in vibrant and natural color that will stand the test of time. I prefer timeless over trendy, I'll be your biggest hype girl, and I'll probably end up on the dance floor at some point.

We were thrilled with Grace from Captured by Grace Photography! Communication with Grace was excellent - she responded quickly and thoroughly answered all our questions during the planning process. On the big day, Grace brought an incredible energy - she made taking photos fun and kept things moving smoothly. The quality of Grace's work is simply stunning. She delivered way more high-quality, artistic photos than we expected, capturing all the special moments of our wedding day and telling the story beautifully. Grace also created a wonderful mix of posed portraits and candid shots that we will treasure forever. We felt like Grace intuitively understood what we wanted and needed on our wedding day. From our first couples photos years ago when we started dating, through our engagement session, and finally our wedding day, we have loved working with Grace. Grace was wonderful through the entire wedding process from engagement photos to the big day. She has a way of putting people at ease and makes getting those candid photos a breeze. I cant say enough good things about her.

I never thought I’d love other couples wedding photos as much as my own, but Grace has the ability and talent to make that happen. (Look her up on her website or Instagram if you want to see proof of her talent) I absolutely love my photos and will definitely hire Grace again in the future. Working with her was a breeze and I highly recommend.
