Q: Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies by season. You will receive a sneak peak posted online and added to your gallery link within 5 days. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 30 days after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive an online gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In my 15 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically, couples book me about 10-24 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Q: Do you also offer video services?

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. My preferred vendor list includes the best videographers I have worked with directly!

Q: Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.

Q: How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 20 to 50+ images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. Because each wedding varies, I do not guarantee a specific number of images returned. My goal is to provide you with the best of the best from your wedding day!

Q: Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be retouched for the best color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.

Lauren is so amazing! She is super funny, so kind and her work IS THE BEST!! I absolutely recommend her to everyone. She is not badly priced and her work is worth so much more! My husband and I are so thankful we found her, she’s our photographer for life! She took our maternity, wedding and newborn pictures of our daughter and they all came out so beautifully. I’m super awkward when it comes to taking photos and posing but she knew exactly how to get me out of my shell and make it so natural. Not once have I felt awkward or uncomfortable when she has taken our photos! Absolutely love her!

We all know that hiring vendors for your wedding is stressful, but Lauren was stress free and my BEST choice! She communicated with me throughout the entire planning process and helped me iron out all the details surrounding the big day. As someone who didn’t use a wedding planner, this was huge for me because I had no idea what I was doing. Lauren helped me through this by providing some timeline templates, and answered any questions that came up (even if it didn’t relate directly to photography). Aside from planning, I knew I had made the right choice when we shot our engagement photos. Obviously the final product is why you hire a photographer, but Lauren provided high quality photos AND a great experience! My husband does not like his photo taken and will usually morph into a toddler who throws tantrums when asked to stand in front of a camera for too long - but not with Lauren. We had so much fun shooting with her, she really made it an awesome experience and my husband actually enjoyed himself! For our wedding day we had exactly the same experience, just on a much larger scale. We had a few last minute changes to the plan, and Lauren made sure that for every sacrifice that was made, that there was no detail or photo opportunity missed. She even spent 20 minutes in a broom closet with my mom and I to try to get my bustle buttoned before the dances. Everyone who interacted with Lauren on that day had nothing but great things to say about their experience working with her, and she was absolutely my favorite vendor on my wedding day. Our photos were sent to us before the date they were promised by and they are absolutely PERFECT. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives! Lauren is phenomenal at what she does, but more than that she is an amazing person. I truly feel like I’ve gained a friend by working with her and I will never use another photographer to capture my memories. I’m so lucky to have found her, and if you get the opportunity to do so I would 1,000,000% recommend it!

We started our relationship with Lauren in the fall of 2023 as we planned our destination wedding for May 2024. From the beginning Lauren was communicative, kind and excited. We were able to connect with Lauren for an engagement shoot in Ann Arbor and received our photos so quickly we were able to use them to build our website and invites. Additionally, I gifted my husband a boudoir photo album on the day of the wedding and she was wonderful to work with. Needless to say, by the time we traveled for our wedding we were so comfortable it was like having a close friend do our shoot.
