If you are looking for an excellent wedding photographer who is personable, thoughtful, and talented, Amanda and her team are the ones for you! Our lead photographer was Chelsey and she was truly amazing to work with. At first, my husband and I did not want to do an engagement shoot, we didn’t think it was necessary but I am so glad we did! It gave us the opportunity to meet Chelsey and learn some poses we recreated on our wedding day. The day of our wedding, Chelsey made sure our day was timed perfectly and we got all of the photos we wanted. Chelsey was so organized, helpful and kind. Her presence honestly took a huge weight off my shoulders. One thing I knew I didn’t need to worry about on my wedding day was having great photos—and I was right! We received our wedding album and all of our photos are absolutely stunning. Of all my vendors, A Rai really knocked it out of the park. So incredibly thankful!

Amanda Rai as the photographer for a wedding at a rustic venue in NH where I provided the florals. Her photographs were just wonderful, and everything looked beautifully light and airy (even on an overcast and rainy day). Amazing! She and her assistants captured so many special moments throughout the wedding and reception, she also really captured people's joy and personalities in her photos. (There was a particularly tender moment with the bride and her young nephew.) Amanda did beautiful work no matter the scale, from the biggest group photos down to the smallest macro/detail photos (floral hairpieces, shoes, rings, bouquets, etc). Highly recommended!

Amanda and her team are awesome. Immediately, we felt so comfortable with their energy, vibe, and professional presence. I love having a team of women who are empowered, structured, and love to work together. It was amazing to do an engagement shoot before the big day to get more comfortable in front of the camera and be able to connect with our lead shooter. We were so excited to see Chelsey again for our wedding day. We knew that we were in good hands. She kept us on timeline and had great notes of all the different shots I wanted. She and Mel created total magic that day and made us feel calm and confident. Since we were working against wind and weather, they were quick to improvise. After the sneak peek, Amanda was so quick to get us a bunch more photos almost right away and ahead of schedule for the rest of the photos! It was such a treat! She is such a great business owner and really takes pride in her product. I had requested a few minor tweaks to some photos and she responded so quickly and made them look perfect. We have definitely found our photographer for the future family photos in A Rai as well don't wait - BOOK THEM NOW!!
