Brin’s Posy is named after my beloved dog. She passed away unexpectedly a few years ago, leaving myself and her pup sister (Abby) to figure out life without her. We were months of grieving her loss when a close friend insisted I channel the grief energy into something positive. A bell went off in my head as my current job as a florist in a far away town was coming to an end. Brin’s Posy helped me come to terms with the loss. I still have Abby (the shop girl) in the shop daily and occasionally out to our farm venues! We love to source local and work with community members.

We are a small boutique florist. We have no minimum order, work with people from all walks of life. I love to understand my clients personality and bring in the flowers to match their energy and vibe. Everyone is so unique and we really make an effort to show that in our wedding florals. No two bouquets are the same.

I started planning my friend's wedding a month before it—yep, you heard it—a month! And it was not an elopement! Some family visa situations prompted that. Long story short, I found Caitlyn on Zola. She was extremely friendly and prompt. We had a call, and I sent her a few pictures of the type of flowers I wanted, and she nailed it. She did it cost-effectively. I had talked to other florists, but we got lucky, and Cailyn was available for our wedding in Nov! My brother has signed a contract with her for next year for his wedding! :)

Cailyn, the owner, was a blast to work with. She is friendly, vivacious, and incredibly knowledgeable. We had a native plant themed bouquet, which was beautiful. She was prompt, adaptable, and funny. Great taste in music. (Classic rock, Shagwüf).
