Catering By Design
The purposeful manifestation of pairing food and design in every last detail of an event. The menu, décor, and facilities are all crafted specifically for each occasion. We know that every event comes with its own unique set of circumstances, parameters, and goals, etc. As such, each event is tailored to these ends. Each menu is carefully crafted, staff personally selected, and the décor artfully executed by our in-house floral and design studio, garnish. Our team has over 30 years of professional experience and can to transform any concept or idea into a reality.
Veteran event specialists who have years of experience planning momentous events, a culinary team who plates with care and precision, and an in-house floral and design studio. We also partner with exclusive historic venues throughout Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley, namely ONE North Broad, The College of Physicians of Philadelphia, Historical Society of Pennsylvania, Michener Art Museum, and Clothier Hall. All of these aspects bring your event to life!

Professionalism to the Last Detail
This is my second year using CBD for a nonprofit annual fundraiser cocktail event and both years were smashing successes. During both events, attendees asked about the catering because they enjoyed the food so much. My point of contact, Melissa Weissman, is a delight to work with as she excels in project management and communication. The service was professional yet warm and friendly, decor was upscale without being fussy, and the food presentation was very fun. I feel so fortunate to have found such a great caterer to work with for our most important event of the year!
Amazing catering & such a great team!
We love the Catering By Design team so much! We've had the opportunity to work on weddings and events with them at all of their exclusive venues and also at a few others around the area. The food is always beautiful & absolutely delicious and the staff are amazing & a pleasure to work with! They are great with communication, help make the planning that leads up to a wedding day easy, and then know how to execute events flawlessly. As a wedding photographer, our team sees dozens of weddings each year. We are always eagerly looking forward to the days we get to work with the Catering By Design team.
