    Jamestown Catering did a truly incredible job! Every wedding guest told us how amazing our food was and they’ve never been to a wedding with such good food! Communication was very prompt and they helped eased my anxiety for sure! Couldn’t recommend them more!!

    I am so happy my husband and I booked Jamestown catering for our wedding! The staff was phenomenal and our catering manager was a SUPERSTAR on the day of (shout out Jessi)! JTC answered all of my questions and helped make my wedding day a breeze. I'm not sure what we would have done without them! The food was amazing and I cannot wait to work with Jamestown again!     Overall, we were happy with the food from Jamestown Catering. We hit a couple bumps in the road in the process, but it all worked out. Communication was not always the best. Our biggest upset was we had scheduled a walkthrough at our venue with the caterer about a month before the wedding day. We had email confirmation from Jamestown Catering that they would be there. Unfortunately, they did not show up and our day-of coordinator tried calling multiple times. Once she finally got ahold of them (about 30 minutes after the agreed upon meeting time), the caterer was very nonchalant about not showing up and said “a last minute event came up”. We were extremely disappointed by the lack of communication since we drove over an hour to be at the venue and had taken off of work, but we were more so upset because we felt like we weren’t a priority. Our coordinator sent a follow-up email stating it was unprofessional and disappointing, especially since they were a preferred vendor of the wedding venue. The caterers reached out separately to sincerely apologize and worked with us to make it correct, but it still left a bad taste in our mouths. Jamestown Catering was very thorough and helpful the day of the wedding, however. We were told by many of our guests that the food was delicious and everyone especially loved the Bavarian pretzels and crab cakes. Overall, the food was good, and we would consider working with the again if the communication aspect were to improve.
