“When I say I searched high and low for a photographer with vintage style editing like Tara, I mean it. I spent months and months looking. She was always on my radar but was unfortunately booked for our date. After lots of contemplation and talking it over with Tara, we decided to go the route of having a “sub” photographer shoot the day and then Tara would do the editing herself. WOW did that work out for the best. The photographers that came for day of were two INCREDIBLE ladies, one I was highly considering when I found out Tara was booked, the other is now my business brand photographer. “Ashley drove all the way up from Philadelphia to photograph our wedding in the Boston area. Her prices were quite reasonable, including the travel costs. She was a very pleasant and relaxed photographer, flexible in the face of uncertainty and complexity, and able to marshall children and adults effectively. Her street photography background lended itself perfectly for candid, intimate, dynamic images, which we were hoping to capture for our guests. Our wedding was on November 3rd, 2024. We received 1100 online photographs on March 29th, 2025, and a USB of all photographs around April 15th, 2025. So it took 20 weeks, 6 days for the full set of photographs. Ashley was able to get us several photographs on November 9th, 2024, which was a pleasant experience after the wedding. My wife was concerned that we might not get the photos from Ashley, as time went by and we could not contact her. During the winter my wife was contacted by another recent customer of Ashley's to ask if we had gotten hold of her and received photos, as the other customer had not yet and had been unable to contact her. The effort of calling, texting, or emailing her every few weeks with no or infrequent responses did become a bit of a chore for us. We're giving Ashley 4 out of 5 stars because the quality of her photos and her quality as a member of the wedding day does not deserve a lower rating. We just wanted you to know of the delay and lack of contact we experienced after the event. It might have been a temporary setback for Ashley, we can't tell from her communication with us. Good luck in your wedding planning!”

From my initial email request, to the day of our wedding, and even now two years later, Janine has always been responsive, helpful, and amazingly talented. Our communication during the wedding planning process was always quick and extremely helpful. She made sure we were on the same page with our photo timeline for the day of the wedding (even with a few last minute changes the day of!) and visited our reception site a few days before the wedding to search for good photo spots. My fiancé and I knew we wanted a photographer who would capture not only the classic wedding portraits but also the candid, silly, and fun side of the wedding. And oh my goodness did Janine DELIVER! She made us feel super comfortable behind the camera and made sure we quickly but efficiently got through all of our formal shots so that we could have time to enjoy our reception where she captured the moments of love and pure spontaneous joy! We have so many favorite hilarious and lovely photos of moments that we didn't even know were happening until looking at the album months later. Her photography style is also gorgeous! The lighting and colors in our pictures are beyond beautiful and just what I had envisioned when thinking about the perfect wedding photos. She sent us a huge online album with both colored edits as well as black and white ones. We have been able to relive the best moments from the most amazing day ever all thanks to her incredible skills. Hi! I'm Meghan. I've had a love for photography since my parents bought me my first camera for Christmas in 2001. I took pictures of anyone and anything that sat still for more than .03 seconds. The more pictures I took, the more I loved it. It became a passion of mine, but it wasn't until later that I had the dream of starting my own business. In the meantime, I teach middle school - 7th grade Language Arts to be exact. Yes, it's exactly as crazy as you're imagining, likely even more so. Teaching has taught me two things: patience and how to laugh at myself.
