Built in 1913 by Elmer Grey, we host wedding receptions ranging between about 125 and 400 guests with matching outdoor space for ceremonies. Our exclusive in-house catering provides a wide range of menus with different themes and service formats, including California, Asian, Indian, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern influenced items in formats ranging from passed to buffet to family-style to plated to live chef stations. Our downtown Long Beach location provides access to lots of hotels, restaurants, Catalina, the Queen Mary, for a great weekend for your guests. And all roads lead to Long Beach so it's a perfect spot for those with guests coming from San Diego to Los Angeles. One of the most stunning locales in the Santa Monica Mountains, 588-acre King Gillette Ranch, offers a rare unspoiled view of California’s rich resources designed for razor magnate King C. Gillette in the 1920’s by Wallace Neff, architect of California’s Golden Age. Park features include some of the original formal landscaping of Gillette’s estate including a grand entry, a serene pond, sweeping lawns, bridges, and the historic Spanish Colonial Revival style mansion with a formal courtyard and terrace. Our rates are most applicable for guest counts of 125+ based on day of the week (with an average of 175+ on a Saturday where our rate is the highest). We offer a (non-holiday) weekday Monday-Thursday evening rate that is our most cost effective and a win for clients anticipating fewer than 100 guests. We typically work with events with a minimum guest count of 75 on a weekday.
