Walnut Hill's serene and private grounds include a forest ceremony grove, meticulously restored and climate controlled barn, ample space for tenting, and farmhouse for up to 12 overnight guests. Weddings at Walnut Hill include exclusive use of the entire property from Thursday-Sunday. This allows couples to host a ceremony and reception on site, as well as rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and even a farewell brunch, with no additional fees. From the beginning, the property has been operating as a greenhouse. In fact, in the 1800’s, Highland Farm was the largest supplier of cut flowers in the Northeast. I’m Michelle, a Portland, Maine based wedding and couples photographer. I grew up in a small town in Connecticut, spent my college years and 20s in Boston, moved to New York City with my husband and now have found my way back to New England.
