    Heather was very flexible with me as we had to change our entire wedding date due to a forecasted hurricane. She was easy to communicate with, on time and did a great job on all my bridesmaids and my hair. Another artist did our makeup and also did a great job! Heather was easy to pivot due to our changes, and was able flexible when I had to change my hair after the trial due to the heavy winds. I found Heather to be easy to talk to, kept my stress low and made sure everyone looked their best that day!

    Working with Heather was so easy. I booked her to do my bridal makeup and hair, and later added on my sister’s hair. As an out of state bride planning a micro wedding in Maine at a location I had never visited before she was so easy to work with. We didn’t have a trial but she nailed the vision I was going for. I had never felt so beautiful!

    Heather did my hair for my wedding as well as hair and makeup for my bridesmaids! Everything was perfect! My hair lasted all day and still looked perfect when the wedding was over. She was very efficient and knowledgeable! Would recommend her to anyone!

    I booked Heather in Dec 2022 for a July 2023 wedding, at that time she was leading a company "New England Glam Squad" with multiple artists, reviews and testimonials. At some point prior to my wedding "NEGS" dissolved and Heather went in her own direction as "Bridal by Heather" - this change was not communicated to existing clientele with any assurances that the services would still be delivered as expected. It took me several attempts to contact Heather. She explained the change and that previous contract and services would be honored. I spent weeks trying to confirm a date for a makeup trial, Heather continued to post on her Instagram that she is busy and to be patient with her and that email responses could take up to 7 days, later moving that to 14 days. I did not get my trial scheduled until the week before my wedding. The week of my wedding Heather posted on her Instagram that she was considering canceling all contracts and refunding brides- this would've left me with no HMU for the day, it caused me a LOT of stress. There was also an issue when I let Heather know that my hair stylist would be doing my hair due for personal reasons, she stated the contract had exclusivity and I pointed out to her it did not. I had even offered to pay her for the hairstyling amount if that was the issue, but she declined and agreed that it would be an OK exception. She made comments on the wedding day that she was not pleased by this and it created an uncomfortable environment and again stress. All that said Heather's work is incredible, she is very talented and everyone in my bridal party looked amazing. If you do not need timely follow up on communication she may be the right artist for you.

    Hi Aspen, I apologize if you felt communication was spotty, I tried to be as transparent as possible that I was behind/overwhelmed during the transition and keep lines of communication open. I also had no issue accommodating your request for your stylist to do your hair after we had our discussion on the phone, if I had an issue I would have just chosen to not move forward with the booking. If I mentioned anything the day of the wedding, it was just in conversation and due to being asked about how I operate my business etc. I may have mentioned not typically splitting parties, to assure quality, but it was not meant as a “stab” or insult by means. It was never my intention to make you or anyone else feel uncomfortable and my apologies if it came across that way. I’m glad everyone loved their looks, at least and wish you the best!
