“My husband and I are so glad that we chose Adam to DJ our wedding in July 2024! We connected with Adam in the summer of 2023 and it was immediately clear that he was very passionate and professional about his work. It was also clear that his main goal was to ensure that we felt comfortable and happy; he did all he could to personalize not only our communication, but our “special” songs, and our vision.This being my first time really thinking through a wedding, Adam asked the right questions (that my husband and I certainly did not think of) to get us considering the flow of not only the dancing portion of our wedding, but the ceremony and other elements of the reception. His experience really allowed him to see the big picture and prompt us gently but strategically to make important decisions that dictated the flow of our special day. We had several touch points with Adam leading up to the wedding and I was so impressed with and comforted by how thorough and detail-oriented he was with our evolving plan. We always scheduled our next check in at the end of our calls, and had very clear and open lines of communication. Leading up to our wedding, we felt that Adam was really preparing for our special requests. For example, we wanted to be introduced to the 1990’s Chicago Bulls introduction theme song (LOL) and Adam studied up on the intonation of the announcer and absolutely rocked it. On the day of the wedding, Adam arrived early to set up, was completely chill but also directive around keeping the flow of the day going; he also worked so well with the event coordinator. “Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”

“We had the absolute best time at our wedding with Silver Arrow Band. They play showcases in NYC at the bar below our apartment so it felt like fate! “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. “T.L. Holloway was the perfect band for our June garden wedding. Steve, John, Peter, and Dylan are fantastic people, extraordinary musicians, and organized planners. These four showed off their versatility and stamina by playing throughout our whole wedding day — from ceremony music with custom renditions of some of our favorite folk songs, through the cocktail hour and dinner with smooth jazz and Sinatra, and closing out the night with faster jazz mixed with classic American and contemporary tunes to keep everyone dancing. They graciously provided sound equipment for our outdoor ceremony, and Steve artfully handled wedding party introductions during the reception as well as various announcements. Throughout the night we noticed them checking their sound from various locations — that attention to detail and care typified our experience, from our first planning call until their last song. They made everything easy for us, were extremely generous with their time during planning, and their renditions of songs we selected were beyond what we imagined was possible. Our guests (and us!) were simply enamored! As lovers of jazz and classic American tunes (but not necessarily dancing), these guys had us and our guests dancing all night. “You won’t regret hiring Tony and Platinum Entertainment, but you will regret not hiring them. Your DJ/MC is one of the most if not the most important vendor that you will book for your wedding. I didn’t believe it until I saw it, but it’s true. Tony was recommended to us by our wedding photographer, Hannah of Hannah Lux Photography. We set up a video call ASAP and after the first few moments, knew he was the right person for our wedding. It was evident very quickly that Tony is beyond passionate about what he does. Throughout the planning process, Tony guided us through everything we needed, made recommendations, and not only tolerated but encouraged my many Taylor Swift requests (or demands). Our wedding was less than 60 people including my husband and I. With such an intimate wedding, we were nervous for a while leading up to the event that people wouldn’t dance, or might even treat it more like a dinner party than a wedding. We were so wrong! The dance floor went ALL NIGHT because of Tony. Friends and family members that I have never seen dance, on the dance floor for our ENTIRE reception having the time of their lives. “From the very beginning, Karl was such a pleasure to work with. Finding a great band for our wedding was our top priority. We were a little apprehensive about pulling the trigger on any band without seeing them live, since videos don’t necessarily do the band justice. We made the decision to go with PopStyle almost entirely because Karl was so responsive and a great communicator. 6 months later, when it came time to iron out details, Karl was consistently professional and put us at ease. Knowing we could trust him to handle everything on his end was invaluable. Obviously we were a bit preoccupied on the day of our wedding, but from what we could tell everything was so smooth. They took care of setting up for our ceremony with a variety of mics and speakers for our officiant, readers, and processional/recessional music. They seamlessly transitioned to the cocktail hour (different location), then introduced our first dance plus family dances, and kicked off the dancing with so much enthusiasm. We absolutely adored their performance. They got everyone out on the dance floor! There were also times when a few of them came out onto the dance floor to really engage the crowd. It was awesome and unexpected. Each band member that I personally interacted with could not have been nicer. They all seemed so genuinely happy to be there celebrating with us. It didn’t feel like a client/vendor dynamic. Additionally, every other vendor we spoke with told us what a pleasure it was to work with PopStyle.
