The large, hardwood dance floor is visible from every guest seat in the facility. The bride and groom will be the center of attention as they are seated at the head table. During the dinner portion of the evening, the bridal party is seated on the dance floor. The outdoor patio allows for additional space to serve guests dinner for larger weddings or serves as an additional space for guests to mingle. Carolina has been working in bars and restaurants since 1997, becoming a bartender in 2004. She is a life-long beer aficionado and has hosted craft beer tastings since she managed the bar at The Caroline in Troy in 2007. When not living in Ohio, she has worked as a bartender at an oyster shack on Australia's southern coast, and at a popular discotheque in Quito, Ecuador. She tended bar at Slainte Irish Pub in Fells Point, Baltimore (one of the top 10 US soccer bars) during the 2014 World Cup, and worked events such as the Preakness and Baltimore Pride festival.

Please contact us on our website or email us directly. We first used our barn for our daughter's wedding because she wanted to have her magical day in the barn and backyard she grew up in. During our wedding, guests kept telling us "what a great idea to use this for a wedding". We had our first Big Barn Venue wedding in 2018 and we continued to book more dates throughout the wedding season. Our barn does not have heating or air so we cannot accommodate much farther outside of the months of June - October. Our brides, grooms, family and friends that have visited the barn for a wedding have truly enjoyed the country scenery we offer and also the amount of space the wedding has to use for a reception and ceremony. Photographers love the fields and they enjoy using almost all of the 200 acres for beautiful photos and videos.

We are Carli & Hamilton Dixon, artists and business owners in downtown Dayton for nearly a decade, and residents of downtown for over two decades. The Brightside is located in the 905 E. Third Street building, which was 18,000 sq. ft. filled with abandoned clothes and trash when we purchased it. I’m Amy I am the passionate heart and soul behind Glass and Grace Events. Since I was a young girl, I always lived for planning birthday parties and hosting friends. All you have to bring is a DJ, dessert, photographer, minister, and florist. We also provide you with an event coordinator for the entire day. Along with rehearsal scheduled the day before your wedding.

But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!
