About this venue

Reverie is so much more than a state of mind or a place. Reverie exists because we believe it is a sacred and beautiful moment when people promise to love each other forever. Marriages ought to get their start in a space worthy of that kind of bold promise. We wanted to dream up a wedding venue that could honor not just the people making the promise, but all the people that support them and celebrate them. Reverie is about more than just the space, it’s also about all the people that fill it. You supply the guests – all the relatives you can manage, all the friends who buy gifts far off the registry, all the people you love and sort of like, and we will take care of the rest.

The Chapel at Reverie

Welcome to your sanctuary…a place to reflect and dream.

Reverie is Dayton’s only wedding and event venue with their own designated Chapel. Minimalistic mixed with modern leaves so much room for your design and vision to be displayed. Everything was designed to enhance your experience from the perfect acoustics delivered through a state-of-the-art sound system to a distraction-free backdrop filled with natural light allowing guests to solely focus on you and this momentous occasion. Reverie, in conjunction with SouthBrook Christian Church, also has pastors and pre-marital mentoring for couples to help you start this next chapter of your lives. If you wish do bring in your own officiant, you may. We just require them to be licensed in the State of Ohio for weddings and that they meet with our pastoral leader prior to the wedding.

The Atrium

We would love to be a part of your big day!

The Atrium is a gathering and connecting space at Reverie. It’s where your guests first enter and it connects the Chapel, Garden Courtyard, Dressing Suites, and Reverie Hall making it a central gathering place. It’s the perfect location for gift tables, cocktail hour, photo booths, and even overflow seating from Reverie Hall. The Atrium is also a favorite spot for photographers to take wedding photos because of all the beautiful available light. Many couples opt to rent additional lounge groupings to use for photos and later cocktail hour seating for those photo ops. Whatever rental package you select, The Atrium is always included.

Reverie Hall

Far from an ordinary event space…

The Reception Hall was designed to be a combination of the past and present. A place with nostalgic touches that gracefully merge with the new and modern. This merging of style and form makes the Reception Hall a versatile event space for everything from weddings and social events to banquets and conferences. The room features a tin ceiling with dimmable lighting, built-in DJ booth with sound equipment, TVs and Projector Screen, and an open floor plan making it easy for guests to see all the action. Depending upon your event needs, the Reception Hall can accommodate 250 guests for a seated dinner. 300 for theater style seating, or 400 for a standing cocktail event. Your Reverie Coordinator will help you navigate floor plans to maximize the benefits of the space with your guest list.

Garden Courtyard

Outdoor Event Space and Wedding Ceremonies at Reverie

A favorite location for Reverie guests is our Garden Courtyard. This beautiful outdoor oasis is perfect for cocktail hour, outdoor wedding ceremonies, or gathering spot. With it’s bistro lighting, fire pits, and soft outdoor seating, it’s also a popular late night spot for guests to take a breather from the dance floor. Our Campus Support Team also does a fabulous job of making sure all the planters and flower beds look beautiful throughout the growing season, which is why it’s also a popular spot for wedding photos.
