PK and the Mighty Seven has been celebrating with newly married couples since 2016! We were originally formed as a Jamiroquai tribute band, playing mostly music by the famed UK group along with other songs we enjoyed. Since that time, we've expanded our song list and played many weddings, which we love to do!

Mixing evocative Celtic songs with upbeat Americana folk and acoustic covers, Lindsay Straw delivers a soundtrack in a warm alto voice with intricate guitar and Irish bouzouki accompaniment. With over 250 weddings under her belt, she loves working with couples to provide the perfect folky playlist tailored to their tastes and needs. She provides her own sound gear and can accommodate new song requests. She's open to weddings all over New England.

Shelley is a multi-award winning harpist based in the Boston area. Her musical style ranges from elegant classics to lively covers of pop songs. Couples can choose from a variety of genres including popular, classical, jazz, and various world traditions, and they are welcome to request additional songs that aren’t on her list. Finding just the right music for every couple is her top priority.

Karen Burciaga is a versatile string player who performs throughout New England. As a violinist, she is in demand for weddings, parties, church services and many other events. She often collarbones with other musicians on guitar, cello, harp, bagpipes and more. As an early music specialist on baroque violin, viola, and viola da gamba, she has appeared with numerous period ensembles. Karen holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN) and a Master of Music from the Longy School of Music (Cambridge, MA). In addition to making and teaching music, Karen also enjoys English, Baroque, vintage and folk dance.

Francesco brings the sensitivity and artistry cultivated as a concert artist to every engagement. He is versatile, having a command over many styles including the traditional wedding repertoire, popular genres and can arrange any song request for the guitar. In addition to performing as a soloist, he also performs in various ensembles of which some of the most popular instruments include: violin, flute and cello. The Hungarian-born Jozsef Halajko has been a guitar teacher and performer for over 30 years. He has given recitals in Boston, New York, Toronto, Munich, and in Budapest. In Budapest, he was a performing artist member of the State Philharmonic -- the organization for public concerts of classical music. Mr. Halajko has performed with the Boston Chamber Orchestra, the Strings of Europe viola-guitar duet, the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Chamber Orchestra, the Fukuda-Halajko flute-guitar duet, and he was principal guitarist in the guitar quartet at The Boston Conservatory.
