Why, hello there. I'm the creative behind the lens. I am a Canadian who pursued his true love, got married and found himself in the United States. It turns out, it can take some time to receive permanent residency, which led me to pick up a camera and fall in love with the art.

You can call me Jem. The first think you'll notice about me is my accent. Originally from Sydney Australia, I followed love to the other side of the planet. I've been photographing weddings since 2010 after I was asked by a friend if I would be their wedding photographer and I haven't found another job that has made me feel quite the same way as Wedding Photography.

The first time I photographed a wedding was intensely nerve-wracking, but as the day wore on it really started to click and I fell in love with getting to be such an important part of the celebration. Those nerves haven't gone away but my passion has certainly grown and I'd love to share it with you as a part of your wedding team.

I have photographed weddings for over 10 years from Boston to Cape Cod. I love creating a story of each couple’s day that they get to relive over and over. Creating the story through my lens brings couples right back to those special moments they never want to forget. Every bride and groom will be able to remember their day just as they always dreamed.

We are Rebecca and Jonathan, wedding and portrait photographers based on Nantucket Island. I love a good love story. I'm completely serious when I say that I go through a romance novel once every 3 days. It's gotten to the point where my husband has given me a budget on the amount of books I can buy because I go through them so quickly! I especially love the stories of the man who is completely head over heals for his lady. A relationship built on a deep connection. An understanding of each others quirks. A marriage of best friends. That's my type of love story we tell through our images! My husband, Dan is not quite as sappy as me. But together we have that strong, understanding and deep connection.

Traveling is my favorite past-time, or should I say future-time (is that a thing?) since I’m always look for new places to experience. I love pizza – like could eat pizza every night for dinner and always watching pizza review videos kind of love. I have two dogs, one who is my best friend, and the other, who is that dog’s best friend. At weddings, you can usually find me singing along to your favorite songs. I promise I won’t sing that loud – because I’m not that good. I’ll be there to teach you how to tie your first bow tie, keep you hydrated, and make sure you remember to take time for yourselves. That’s what it’s all about anyways, you.

From her high school darkroom days, to full time wedding and family photography, Kelsie leaned into her passion of capturing couples’ stories as they unfold. As a student of the Art Institute of Boston and Maine Photographic Workshops, art has always been an outlet for Kelsie. In addition, her Culinary Arts and Hospitality degree and extensive experience in catering and event management, gives her an advantageous eye for the details. Enjoying colors, fabrics, and florals, she is able to capture both the celebratory love shared at a wedding as well as the design and beauty surrounding the couple and their guests.
