Originally built as a citrus barn in the late 70’s, our rustic and elegantly charming event venue comfortably seats 200 guests. A canopy of mossy oaks surrounds the outdoor ceremony site with market lights strung to create a romantic glow. A paved walkway leads to your happily ever after where vows are exchanged in front of our wooden gazebo. In the air-conditioned reception room, guests will enjoy comfortable seating under our lofty ceiling where draping and twinkle lights create a delightful starry sky atmosphere. We started our Ranch in 2008 with just cattle. We built our house here in 2011 and in 2012 our son and daughter in law decided to have their wedding here. After that we had a lot of people asking to have a wedding or an event here, so we decided to build our Barn to share our beautiful property for weddings, receptions, parties, fundraiser or special event.

The Secret Garden at Paradise Spring™ is a luxury estate for people who are looking for privacy, flexibility, and value in their wedding venue. The estate includes overnight accommodations for up to 16. This allows you ample time for a rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and of course ceremony. The garden itself is nestled under the shade of several hundred year old grandfather oaks, that give way to a natural alter. The outdoor ceremony space includes enough room to seat up to 160 guests. Follow the winding trails to the fully air conditioned Paradise Pavilion™ with over 5000sqft of tall ceiling, air conditioned space, and an expansive patio for cocktail hour. The Crocker Memorial Church was built in 1901 and has been in continuous use ever since. This charming little white church is a marvel of adaptive use. It has been moved three times and has now come to rest in Pioneer Park, the home of the Historical Society of Sarasota County. The Crocker Memorial Church sits next to the Bidwell-Wood House, built in 1882. Both the spacious front and back porches of this home are welcome gathering places for your wedding party and guests. Photography is permitted at both locations as well as on the grounds. There is a sound system in the church.

Just outside of downtown Tampa sits The Orlo, a private social club housed within the historic Spafford House and ballroom. Orlo J. Spafford, the president of the Tampa National Bank, built the Orlo in 1896 to share with his son and his family. In 1922 the Orlo was sold to the Tampa Women’s Club where the addition of a ballroom was made to host formal parties and extravagant dances. This historical ballroom still stands today and is ready to host your next party or extravaganza. Some of our favorite features are our gorgeous bridal suite on the second floor. It has so much natural lighting (a photographers dream) and large enough for you and your bridal party to get ready on your wedding morning! The Orlo has been restored and still has the original wood floors, chandeliers, and grand staircase. It is the perfect blank slate for your wedding or event!

Our farm is a multigenerational heritage homestead and Wedding Venue. Our elevated rural property is located in Avon Park, FL. The black and white farm house aesthetic is a modern take on the traditional barn wedding. Jeff Hardeman, owner of Hardeman Landscape Nursery, is the conceptual proprietor of the Secret Garden. Hardeman has been influenced by his love of travel in many of his designs, and the Secret Garden is no exception. Each of the areas in the Garden has an exotic, but natural feel, balancing risk and modern appeal in an expert fashion. The Secret Garden also features an educational garden, earning the distinction as an Agri-Tourism location in Florida.The Secret Garden is the culmination of Hardeman’s life and work. It is meant to teach, be enjoyed by those who visit, and act as a monument to his vision of what this world can offer to one’s senses.
