We had a small wedding (about 50 people) and the crowd was older, mostly in their 40s and up. Adam is young, but he really knows his music! “Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. “We had the absolute best time at our wedding with Silver Arrow Band. They play showcases in NYC at the bar below our apartment so it felt like fate! “I don't think a single person at our 10/14/23 wedding received more compliments than DJ Steff. And there's no one I'd be happier to share the spotlight with. To put it simply - DJ Steff is amazing. At every phase of planning -- from our introductory call to walking through the event portal to wedding weekend - DreSteff Events was a dream. DJ Steff was patient, kind, thoughtful, collaborative, and incredibly responsive. He took time to know our specific music tastes, pet peeves, and personalities to bring our wedding ceremony reception to life in a way that felt uniquely us. He found all the songs we wanted to use -- no matter how obscure. The music mics at the ceremony were flawless. The cocktail hour tunes were on point. “T.L. Holloway was the perfect band for our June garden wedding. Steve, John, Peter, and Dylan are fantastic people, extraordinary musicians, and organized planners. These four showed off their versatility and stamina by playing throughout our whole wedding day — from ceremony music with custom renditions of some of our favorite folk songs, through the cocktail hour and dinner with smooth jazz and Sinatra, and closing out the night with faster jazz mixed with classic American and contemporary tunes to keep everyone dancing. They graciously provided sound equipment for our outdoor ceremony, and Steve artfully handled wedding party introductions during the reception as well as various announcements. Throughout the night we noticed them checking their sound from various locations — that attention to detail and care typified our experience, from our first planning call until their last song. They made everything easy for us, were extremely generous with their time during planning, and their renditions of songs we selected were beyond what we imagined was possible. Our guests (and us!) were simply enamored! As lovers of jazz and classic American tunes (but not necessarily dancing), these guys had us and our guests dancing all night. “From the very beginning, Karl was such a pleasure to work with. Finding a great band for our wedding was our top priority. We were a little apprehensive about pulling the trigger on any band without seeing them live, since videos don’t necessarily do the band justice. We made the decision to go with PopStyle almost entirely because Karl was so responsive and a great communicator. 6 months later, when it came time to iron out details, Karl was consistently professional and put us at ease. Knowing we could trust him to handle everything on his end was invaluable. Obviously we were a bit preoccupied on the day of our wedding, but from what we could tell everything was so smooth. They took care of setting up for our ceremony with a variety of mics and speakers for our officiant, readers, and processional/recessional music. They seamlessly transitioned to the cocktail hour (different location), then introduced our first dance plus family dances, and kicked off the dancing with so much enthusiasm. We absolutely adored their performance. They got everyone out on the dance floor! There were also times when a few of them came out onto the dance floor to really engage the crowd. It was awesome and unexpected. Each band member that I personally interacted with could not have been nicer. They all seemed so genuinely happy to be there celebrating with us. It didn’t feel like a client/vendor dynamic. Additionally, every other vendor we spoke with told us what a pleasure it was to work with PopStyle. Overall, we would 100% book PopStyle again for any event. If you are considering them at all, I would look no further. They exceeded our expectations in every category”
