Each area of the property has been meticulously thought out with our couples in mind. We thrive in making sure each couple + their families feel at home and at ease on their wedding day! We are located near a ton of hotels. We have a flexible floor plans with many set up options! We also have a large asphalt parking lot. The Venue offers a bridal suite complete with h/m stations, smart tv+mini fridge, a masculine grooms cabin with smart tv +mini fridge, a large outdoor ceremony space, an indoor chapel, a large covered porch for cocktail hour, (2) kitchens, bar kitchen, and a large catering kitchen. We have two sets of men’s and women’s restrooms, one set at each end of the building. We also have a fully handicap accessible restroom. We have on site lodging as well as a smaller venue for your rehearsal dinner.

Tired of the same wedding barn look? This 1883 historic Laundry building is the epitome of a unique venue. It has several spaces to choose from- from an intimate 50 person ballroom to a larger 150 person main reception area. The outdoor terrace has beautiful party lights and allows the party to spill outside. There is also a 2 bedroom apartment that can be rented to use as a bridal suite or to house the couple. The space is set up with A/V and projector and comes with square tables for your use (or we can arrange for rounds). We are an open vendor venue and you can provide your own alcohol (with TABC bartending) saving you money. Stand out from the rest and hold your celebration in a venue steeped in history.

And not only do we have a Bridal Suite for the Bridal Party to get ready but we also have a separate house for the Groom and Groomsmen to have their space to get ready. The Groom’s house has sleeping accommodations for up to 6 guests as well as games, outdoor seating area, and so much more!! Our Venue has a HUGE 3,000 sq ft. heated/cooled Reception barn which is perfect for busting a move on the dance floor and celebrating with your loved ones. The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with a private garden, gazebo, and Carriage House. The private garden & Carriage House venue space is available to rent and our main house Museum offers group tours, luncheons, bridal tea, baby showers, and more! The outdoor pavilion can accommodate approximately 150 sitting guests, with plenty of space for more within the private garden. The garden features many beautiful opportunities for great photos. The pavilion can be enclosed when the weather gets too cold. Casa Blanca is attached to a remodeled 2 story turn of a century old house. The guesthouse is a great added option to stay overnight, and can accommodate up to 10 guests.

Winding Brooks is a labor of love designed and built by Ed. His love of plants, flowers, the land and nature have inspired him to create these beautiful gardens. The park-like setting includes water features with winding streams that gently cascade to a large water pond. An abundance of natural rock and boulders, water plants, numerous varieties of plants and flowers, two pergola areas for outdoor ceremonies, and unusually shaped trees line the gardens for everyone to enjoy.

HD Ranch offers a stress free venue experience that generously includes onsite lodging for 3 full days!
