We are a Smithsonian Affiliated Museum in downtown McKinney. Built in1900 and established in 1970. We have 54 years of service! We have the Art-O-Mat which is a vintage machine repurposed for collectible art hence the Art-O-Mat! People travel all over the world and to McKinney to add to their art collections! The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with a private garden, gazebo, and Carriage House. The private garden & Carriage House venue space is available to rent and our main house Museum offers group tours, luncheons, bridal tea, baby showers, and more! Opened in 1872, The McKinney Flour Mill is a historic gem that still stands today right in the heart of beautiful Downtown McKinney. From the industrial equipment, original hardwood floors & beams, to our unique Event Halls that have hosted hundreds of events and the local Businesses that call the Mill home, the Mill has a one of a kind look that cannot be replicated anywhere else. Don’t settle for less when you deserve the absolute best.

We are a family owned + operated business. We believe that family is so important in the foundation of marriage and we love welcoming all of our sweet couples into our family! Each area of the property has been meticulously thought out with our couples in mind. We thrive in making sure each couple + their families feel at home and at ease on their wedding day! We are located near a ton of hotels. We have a flexible floor plans with many set up options! We also have a large asphalt parking lot. The Venue offers a bridal suite complete with h/m stations, smart tv+mini fridge, a masculine grooms cabin with smart tv +mini fridge, a large outdoor ceremony space, an indoor chapel, a large covered porch for cocktail hour, (2) kitchens, bar kitchen, and a large catering kitchen. We have two sets of men’s and women’s restrooms, one set at each end of the building. We also have a fully handicap accessible restroom. We have on site lodging as well as a smaller venue for your rehearsal dinner.

Welcome to the Station featuring a rustic farmhouse feel with reclaimed shiplap walls and industrial concrete floors. Our tasteful antique accents are incorporated into the modest decor, making the space beautiful as it is, or easily elevated to more lavish events. Guest of The Station have full use of the foyer, bar, bridal and groom suites, large gathering room, inclusive farmhouse tables, additional seating and tables, bathrooms, sound system, and kitchen! In addition to these amenities, our guests frequently appreciate the functionality of our large rolling door that opens up onto the urban sidewalk of Downtown McKinney. Also appreciated by Station patrons is our open vendor policy, we encourage clients to seek out local resources to fulfill needs like catering, florist and other event-related resources.
