The turn of the century brick building, originally a wholesale grocery warehouse, was built by Augustus Chapel King who founded and operated The King Grocery Company. Mr. King, also known as Gus, is woven into the history of McKinney. His namesake, The Augustus, pays homage to his one-of-a-kind space along with McKinney's storied past. With its historic location, original wood floors, exposed bricks and crystal chandeliers, Gather is an elegant, timeless venue that hosts up to 150 guest providing a celebration that is sure to be memorable. We are an excellent location for hosting bridal or baby showers, birthday parties or quinceaneras, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and much more.

We have two sets of men’s and women’s restrooms, one set at each end of the building. We also have a fully handicap accessible restroom. We have on site lodging as well as a smaller venue for your rehearsal dinner.
